1) How do you feel about rehaired ponies?
I am totally okay with rehaired ponies. As long as it was done correctly and looks somewhat original (same color).

2) Would receiving a Taobao pony offend you?
No way! I LOVE the Fashion Style sized Taobao ponies and I would love to have Shining Armor lol(even though I DO realise these are not babies lol)

3) What pony flaw irks you the most?
I'm not very picky but i would say the biggest flaw would be a sticky or stinky pony. Eww.

I debated about joining this swap all weekend... It's taylor made for me... as babies (and their mommies!) are my fav ponies!!

3. List all conditions you are not okay with, and all conditions you are (frizzy hair, marks, scuffs, hair cuts, etc.): I REALLY like my "collection" ponies to be as near mint as possible. But that doesn't mean I'd turn up my nose as a 'less than perfect' pony either.   

I prefer my ponies to be cancer & rust free... but if the pony has one or two small cancer spots... but utterly PERFECT face/symbols... I can forgive the cancer. And I can fix Tail Rust... so it is forgivable. visitors can't see pics , please register or login
 

And honestly... large disfiguring marks (stains, highlighter, makeup, pinmarks etc), aren't really something I like to see. I can forgive small marks (especially if they are on the NDS, or in inconspicuous areas...).

Frizzy hair... is also hard for me to take. However, being a customizer, if it's a HTF pony... I can deal with it... rehairing them at some point. For example... there's NO WAY I would turn away a NBBE Baby Gusty if she had frizzy hair, or a buzz cut...

I understand that for the most part (at least for G1s), we are talking about nearly 30 yr old toys that were almsot definately played with....  So as picky as I am... I can deal!

4. Do you collect anything else besides ponies?:  Yup! Breyer Model Horses, pins (particulary Disney ones), Books (Marguerite Henry & Walter Farley hardcovers, "Art of..." animation books... etc..), keychains and postcards from places I've been... Disney figures (mostly Donald Duck, Gargoyles & Lilo & stitch)
5. List some of your hobbies, likes, and interests: Going to movies, reading books (mostly fantasty like Mercedes Lackey, and children's fantasy like Harry Potter, Search for WondLa etc..), painting model horses... etc...
6. List some of your favorite snacks and treats: Rollos (really any Chocolate and Caramel candies ), Cadbury Chocolate, Milky Ways... etc
7. Any food, animal, fragrance allergies? Nope!
8. Are you currently participating in any other swaps?  If so, which ones? Yes... Candy Custom Swap, and 4 seasons swap (which I'm almost done procuring ponies for. )

No problem! Tho if they are original G1 ponies that have been rehaired... I'd just like to be aware of it.

Nope! Not at all.

Cancer spots (mostly those that are painfully visible. If they can be hidden... they don't bother me taht much. Chew marks too... particularly when it's on a baby Unicorn's horn.

Which pony would you want a baby custom to be made after? Oooooh... tough one! I'd say ones that weren't made originally... Let's see...

I'm a pretty picky collector  .  I don't have a lot of space, so I would prefer fewer ponies in better condition (excellent-Minty) as opposed to lots of ponies in ok condition.  I really love my minty ponies.  I'm not ok with cancer, regrind, big permanent marks, chew marks or mould.  I'm ok with minor paint scratches, and ponies that have been re-haired, as long as it's done well, and looks fairly original.  I can re-hair ponies myself as well.

4. Do you collect anything else besides ponies?
I'm developing quite the collection of board books for babies, and children's book (for my 6 month old),  but that's about it.

5. List some of your hobbies, likes, and interests.
I like to make cakes, custom ponies, paint and craft when I have time.  I have a 6 month old, and I love educational toys, especially ones made of wood.  I love animals, and I have a dog and 2 ferrets.  I love to read, garden and spend time outdoors.

6. List some of your favourite snacks and treats.
I can't eat flour, so anything that's flour-free.  One of my favourite things is chocolate covered macadamia nuts, but I know they are super hard to find.  The only thing I don't like is licorice, other than Nibs.

7. Any food, animal, fragrance allergies?
I'm sensitive to wheat flour, and cigarette smoke/strong fragrances.

Oh sorry, Taobao is a Chinese site kind of like eBay, only more controversial because of where the ponies for sale on the site originate from.  There have been some threads going on around here about ponies being removed from the Hasbro factory unethically.  There are irregular ponies on the website, like factory oopsies and international releases not available in USA.  Some people are against supporting the  sale of these 'grey market' ponies.   

Thanks for the clarification/ definition... As long as it were a G1 I would not mind at all!
