I'm the kitty in the corner, in case you were wondering.. We made a deal that I would go on videochat (in costume) if he would watch one episode of FiM. I made him watch Bridle Gossip, my all time favourite!  ^.^

After that screenshot (where he looks SO attractive! ;D), he actually started laughing at it! Especially 'Flutterguy'..

He loves it really. :3

Personally, I´m probably one of the few members here that is NOT a FiM fan :P I watched the show with my hubby and neither of us got sold on it :(

But as I said, we´re in the minority ^^ so there's always hope for your friend :P

He admitted it wasn't as bad as he was expecting.. So I guess there's slow progress there  ;) the boyfriend's going to be the more difficult one to convert, he is so stubborn against watching MLP!

Ahh well.. I have my pony friends, at least! ;D Not that I am giving in..

Nope...I am the same...I really am enjoying the toys...but am a bit blah on the show at the moment....

Your friend looks "super enthusiastic" lol!! Good luck...but at least he was a good enough friend to give it a go! Not all friends would be quite so accommodating!

Good luck. Personally, I find it better not to try to convert peope into fans. If they choose to check it out and like it...cool. If not....cool. I just want people to find the love for themselves. But there is nothing wrong with introducing people to it. I don't want to come across like I'm judging you. lol

I do give him credit for actually watching it :) bless him.. He's been teasing me for weeks about me liking MLP, so I suppose in a way it was pony payback >:3 heh!

And now I can't get those darned whiskers off my face.. Ohhh dear.

Hehe. I tried that with my nephew. I know he'd like the show if he actually watched it, but any time I even begin to suggest it, he cuts me off with a loud "NO" and then declares "I DON'T WANT TO BE A BRONY". LOL.

Eek, although I'm not a big fan of trying to 'make' anyone like something I like (it usually backfires - the more you press them to enjoy it, the more they resent you and the show), I can understand the desire to share something you love. I hope you got his permission before you posted his picture on the internet!

I'm so proud to say that Joe is now a brony. :happy:

Gentle prodding sure worked! He's already hooked.. his favourite is Rainbow Dash and he loves :muffin: Pony Hooves too.

He's had a tough weekend, and he says it's cheered him up a lot.. I'm so happy :) it's nice to share things you love with your friends, and if it makes them feel better it's even moreso! <3
