UPDATE: So i Emailed Hasbro... PICTURE ON PAGE 2!!!

... about the "Rarity Carousel Boutique" playset i just bought.
It says on the package "20+ parts", at least on the Dutch box it says. And...there are NO WAY 20 parts. 
So i Emailed Hasbro how misleading i thought that is. It's promising something that's totally untrue. My Email was sended yesterday.

Already today i got a response. Hasbro is very sorry i feel disappointed and has offered me a theme set as compromise!! 
I am very happy they took my critique seriously! I just started collecting G4 so i'm not very sure what a themew set is, but i am just happy they do their best for me. So i'm gonna mail them my adress and am very excited to receive my special gift!

Thats good that they came back to you with a response that you are happy with! Its nice when manufacturers listen to comment.

I think by 20+ parts they will be counting lots of bits that we wouldnt class as "parts"...thats the way these manufacturers work with their fudging of the figures.

Well, they might learn karton/carton figures do not count, from now on That's so cheap and let's face it: pony's nowadays are definitely expensive... For that money, i want good service

The carousel itself is made up of parts and I am guessing they counted these separately which is lame!

I got the carousel and there is at most 12 parts in there... unless you count the two tickets.  Lets see... 2 ponies, 2 cardboard tickets, saddle, 5 food items, 2 carousel ponies, the carousel, the mouse... and I don't think it came with a brush or comb or anything else.  I'm pretty sure this is it.  Besides the paper dog, bunny, and Twilight.  Even so, there's only 14 pieces (if you include the tickets) plus 6 cardboard cutouts... not exactly accessories.  They may have counted them though.  Sigh.  Definetly false advertising to say 20+ pieces.  I'm so glad you are getting a bonus from Hasbro!  Can't wait to see what it is!

Maybe your box is the same one they use for the French version? That one comes with extra accessories and an orange carriage.

I did not miss pieces you mentioned, but there was a loose plastic in my box and it seemed something should be in there. But it was empty in my box. That's a bit odd.
Oh, little edit: there were no brushes in this set. At least not here in Holland.

I counted those parts you can see as loose. But still not 20, not even close. I counted everything except carton figures, they cannot be seen as 'extra items'. And i counted like 14 parts only. Thats wíth including those tickets...


Sabathamk, you are totally right. I have the same items you mentioned.
By the way, Hasbro had admitted the 20+ text is a mistake. It was already printed before it turned out the parts were less then 20 (This is what the lady told me in Email).
I guess that's why they filled the thing with carton stuff, to hope people would not complain... offcourse they don't wan't everyone to say something and they don't want to print the box again if they made alot ahead.
