JUMBO RAINBOW DASH!!!
I saw this picture on the Trading Post (from several years ago) and pretty much decided I would kill to have one, lol. But first thought I should find out more... like how many there are in existence, when and where were they made, if anyone would actually be willing to give one up... and for what price? (I'd probably have to have her de-stuffed for shipping then re-stuff her when she arrives)

If anyone has any info on this epic plushie I'd love to hear it... especially if you have one you'd be willing to sell to an Aussie. 

And while we're on the topic of Rainbow Dash Plushies...
The one at the very top, I'd love to buy her as well. She looks a bit different from the other plushies I've got roughly that size, none of them have the red heart on their leg. Anyone got any info about her?

G1 BAITS (added in)

I'm seeking some G1 Bait ponies to use in a project that involves moulding and metal casting, so they can be seriously baity. I really don't want to use anything that can be restored (especially not a male pony), these ponies may not be retrievable from the moulding process. So I've made a bit of a list of what's suitable in the bait and what's not.

NO:
- cuts, chew marks, damages to basic shape
- 3D symbols
- necks that don't match up smoothly
- legs that are meant to touch the ground flat but are bent (this is pose specific and could mess up the balance)
- Nothing else 3D on pony design, tail rings or chest knobs

YES:
- cancer, dirt, penmarks
- hair beyond salvage
- colour doesn't matter
- flocked ponies (I'll just deflock)
- loose heads

I am looking for specific poses though and would really like it if I could get these cheap from an Australian so the shipping is mostly the cost, maybe all in one lot of you have them.

Mimic Pose (alternately a Glory or Buttons may do if this is too HTF)

The Posey Pose is my #1 priority (my fave lol)

I get the feeling it was exclusively made in America, gosh I would absolutely love to have one! So jealous of those who do, lol!

I want that one too.  I didn't see one at the MLP fair last year.  I saw one at the tour at Hasbro on a table with other stuff and was tempted to ask if it was for sale but it probably wasn't, just display.

I've found out that apparently they were Australian exclusives... I really wish I'd gotten into ponies years ago lol.
If I were you Majesty I would have definitely asked if it were for sale... and if not, how much it would take for them to sell her. But you're probably right about being a display item, a torturous display item.

I still can't see the pic, but is it this one in my picture? The one in the front? I already sold mine, but if you keep checking ebay au. one will pop up on auction every now and then. And  yes, the Giant Rainbow Dash is a Australia and New Zealand exclusive plush.

Don't give up hope! I see them come up on ebay australia pretty often. They aren't that rare in Australia, but they usually aren't able to stand on their own when I see them, as children want to ride a pony that size so it breaks the poles in their legs.

Well I'll probably have to have her destuffed for postage so I could fix her legs up. I'm a painfully impatient person, my worst quality, so waiting to find one will drive me insane. I've been trying every variation of 'large plush pony' I can think of to get results, I hope you're right and I find one

The one in the picture you have with the red hoof heart on her leg is a called a Pillow Buddy. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were made (maybe others?). I have one I bought in the store, so she was sold in the US for sure, but I don't remember which store I bought her in... Probably Walmart. But she's about the size of an adult-sized pillow for a bed, though not quite plush enough for an adult to actually use her for a pillow. ;;

Anyway, I have heard they're not that common online, but maybe knowing what she's called will help you find one.

Thanks for the info on the Pillow Buddy, knowing what she's called will make it easier to find one from a collector, dunno about the average seller though. She's just 'if I find one I'd love to have one' though, not a really active hunt like the Jumbo pony.

The Pillow buddies were sold at walmart in the usa as Dragonflitter said, but I had to get mine off ebay because I never saw the rainbow dash one in the stores around my area. I only ever saw the sparkleworks, sunny daze and pinkie pie one's. So, I  think that the Rainbow Dash one may have been harder to come by.
