Pony cosplay/costume pictures!

Wow all amazing pictures =) I'm restarting my G4 Fluttershy cosplay and I got most everything down, but any advice on what to do with the cutie mark because last time I did a Pinkie Pie cosplay and drew them on with markers and they smeared pretty badly, but I also can't sew... @-@ what should I do?

Fabric paint!  Acrylic paint will also work, but fabric paint is slightly more flexible when it dries.
The best part is that both fabric paint and acrylic paint are washable.

(BTW - love your ferret pic!  I've got 3 ferrets of my own. ^^)

I agree with fabric paint or you could cut the shapes out of felt and glue them on. There are also places that offer embroidery services, so you might want to look into that for a more professional costume.

You could also get that iron-on paper meant for dark fabrics and transfer them that way.

These are all so wonderful!   I'm glad someone's done Photo Finish, too. That cosplay came out absolutely perfect.

Yay! Pony Cosplay! I love seeing pictures of peoples costumes. I'm working on a Rarity cosplay for A-kon. I got my wig about two weeks ago. I plan on working on it some this weekend. =p

so far, this is my favorite of all pony-to-human-conversions/ponycosplay .

my favorite part on pony/gijinka-cosplay is, that everyone interprets the basis different. i´ve done pony and pokemon cosplay so far, and even if you meet your character double, its never boring!!

for example, i´ve seen so many versions of the fluttershy galadress now, but none is like the others, thats beautiful.

the main- aspect in these interpretation-costumes is, that you still display the charakter well. that it suit her/his personality and surrounding, job, position,..
for example, i think its always great to display Pony with letters or post-bags.  like archers version, soo cute!
the blouse and shorts remind of a postman uniform, but also of a school uniform, with the stockings. this gives her an innocent and cute image, but that she has a responsebillity/job.  And, at least for me, the cutest on her is that she isn´t perfect in her responsebillity. so she reminds most of us of our selves. that, between other things, makes her so lovable, and i think archer catched it very well.
(just an example, her PP and rocking beats cosplay is great too! )

just my two cents. i think just picking the colors and wear it isn´t it.let the clothes have a meaning for the character.
like - you barely recognise gadget hackwrench in a dress with make up. 


about the symbol, i highly suggest the iron on foil for dark fabrics. the one for light fabrics is transparent, so watch out!
it looks fine and even can be washed. i used it on dashs symbols too!

I love looking at all theses cosplays, they are all so unique!

I made a Rainbow Dash costume for this past years' con, and it was so much fun wearing it!! I ran into a couple other cosplayers, but was a little bummed I didn't see more. A lot of people recognized me though so that was awesome!

I'm working on Rarity and Fluttershy fursuits. The Fluttershy one is going to be very light, so I might wear it at a con this summer. I'm about halfway through Rarity, and may need to get myself an embriodery machine to finish her symbols. I'm not sure if my sewing machine will do a good enough job on them.
