Rainbow Dash going bald?

I was browsing the pony section, debating on buying myself one of the Ride Along sets that I don't own (since no store anywhere near me seems to think Cherry Pie and Diamond Rose are worth stocking, but that's another matter), when I noticed something odd with one of the Rainbow Dash sets. At first glance, I thought her red streak had been replaced by a large orange one. This got me excited, since that would be a pretty neat defect. That is.... until I got a closer look.

Dash has a receding hairline!! She is missing her red streak entirely! Instead, she has two rows of bare plugs. I couldn't help but laugh. Poor girl.

I thought about buying her, but I didn't in the end. There are so many factory defects going around, I figured it wouldn't add to the value. I could be wrong though. :/

Mainly the factory defects on g4s are the head/body thing. the ones on taobao are just missing body parts. I dont think there is many with missing manes! My twilights missing 1 plug, but thats it. I rehaired her with spare from another pony.

I would agree on the fact this line has so many QC issues and factory defects that you should expect to spot at least one every now and then when you are shopping!

It's probably a good thing you pointed that out! I probably would have bought her without noticing. I will have to keep a closer eye out if I get her.

I sincerely doubt that :S Factory defects only count for more if they are not common (and almost all G4 seem to be) and if they don't make a pony feel, well, ugly or something.
I would really wonder why someone would ever want to pay extra for a pony with missing plugs, especially on the front of her head
