Kuroshitsuji Ciel + Alois (complete with lolitas; pic heavy)

This is a 4-part commission for a repeat customer who bought ff7 Reno, Kindgom Hearts II Demyx, Axel and Roxas.


When digging through my supply of pony baits I felt these characters would best be presented with the generation 3.5 "mommy" pony base. This particular base isn't all that common, but is the same height as a regular generation 3 pony but has a more compact body size and larger head.

Body paint is a custom blend of acrylics I made to have a neutral pale flesh tone a lot of anime characters have, but with a touch of yellow to it.

Eyes are entirely hand-painted in acrylics.

Ciel's mane and tail are re-rooted in authentic Hasbro pony doll hair in the colors of black magick, pacific ocean, and waternixie.

Alois's mane and tail are re-rooted in doll craft hair I picked up from Joanne Fabric's for the blond, and authentic Hasbro pony doll hair for the yellow in the color called lemonade.

Outfits are entirely hand-sewn.

In the series, the two boys go undercover to investigate and have to dress up as convincing lolitas to perform their job.

Boy versions:
Shoes consist of all authentic leather materials, tied together with hemp and detailed with maxi piping and bias tape.

Did something a little different for Alois's shoes; I took black maxi piping and cut the trim off it and glued the cord portion to the bottom of the shoes (pictured bottom of collage).
Also detailed with regular ribbon.

Ciel's blue outfit is cotton. White undershirt is bias tape. Detailed in gold metallic rhinestones, white pearl rhinestones, and various widths of black ribbon. Staff is a toothpick I painted metallic black then fixed a metal skull to it with wire and used fabric glue to mold that all together then tied various widths of blue ribbon around it while the glue was wet.

Ciel's eye patch is entirely removable, and made of all authentic black leather.

Alois's white undershirt is also white bias tape. Detailed in wide black ribbon. Green vest is a wide green ribbon with a sheen to it, detailed in black rhinestones. Shorts are a inverted gold material that had a thin brown inside, so I used that side for the outer.

Coat is a neat material I picked up at Fabric Depot. It was really hard to find that specific color in my own supply of fabric, so I just took a trip down south to make sure I had the exact perfect fabric choice for this job.
Buttons are antiqued rhinestones.

Lolita versions:
Ciels' dress is a fine material I picked up from Fabric Depot. White cotton for the main white body of the train, then wide white ribbon was hand-sewn and pleated for all the ruffles. Detailed in smaller black and pink ribbons for the trim and bows.

Black gloves on the front legs are a thicker black material with black maxi piping sewn to the tops.

Hat is removable, crafted from leather with the same pink material and wide pink ribbon glued on with fabric glue, detailed with white ribbon for the bow and black bias tape around the brim.

White roses are individually hand-sewn to the brim.

Alois' outfit is also 100% hand-sewn from a dark blue dress material, and a white cotton material. Ruffles are white bias tape. Detailed in dark blue ribbon hand-sewn all over the dress by a very tiny needle. Used pliers to pull the needle in difficult areas.

That completes this order.

That looks like a lot of work that really paid off!  I read your detailed description and you really took the time to find just the right materials.  I bet sewing each rose took a longgggg time.  They look awesome, <3 G3.5 customs!

I'm really amazed by the outfits--they look incredibly time-consuming and detailed.  Awesome hair on all of them, as well.  I like how you add plenty of plugs to make shorter hair styles full.
