Who is taking commissions right now?

I've never commissioned pony art, so I am out of the loop =P What's the usual going rate for commissioned art, and who is available?

Either, really. I don't have an extremely specific idea in mind yet, I'm sorta just sticking a toe in the water (so to speak) =P

Seconding all the comments on the commission artist thread and also offering my services. I charge for my work as art is my career and I promise if you decide to go with me you won't be disappointed . I am fully open for simple work or complex but price will go up or down accordingly.

i guess you get comissioned artwork up from 5$ starting, or for free, if you look at the adoptables.

Depends on how unique, how much right you have over the image, and the artist's self worth. If you want to be the soul owner of the artwork and stuff and the artist knew what they were worth you could be paying alot, but off a template like the adoptable are, alot less cause you're paying for a recolour of an existing art, not something unique. Adoptable can be very pretty though- don't get me wrong. If you want something that's not like the others, the price ideally would go up. Specially if it's traditional one of a kind art.
