My New baby. her name is Renny (i named her) she got a fresh start with me the last week in february and moved to her new home close to my house. she now grazes on fresh grass with a herd of buffallo and a handful of other horses and 16 pregnant goats!LOL she is the perfect trail companion. she has gained 70 pounds since i purchased her and has also stopped biting and fearing human hands. i can do anything to her now. ive had her a month and am so in love with her. <3she was previously abused physically, and starved nearly to death. she is 19 years old.   Thanks to Unicorn from the kenner forum for making it possible by purchasing and offerring what she did for the vintage LPS PNP stable.

The last photo brought tears to my eyes ... how can people do that ... You are a wonderful girl for giving her a loving home and taking good care of her. I am sure she will be very happy with you.

she is getting such a silly personality too!!   she is so funny.  she makes noises like ginger from black beauty when one of her pasturemates jag gets too close without her permission.  but yet she will go up and nuzzle him and groom him hahaha.      she also drools and knickers when i get her feed and supplements out.        and she loves to play in the creek that runs through the property.      she also loves her underside of her neck rubbed vigorously, her lip will start drooping.  haha

yeah poor thing has a chunk of her lip missing on one side from being hit with a corn scythe from what im told.  still has milk from foaling in october.   and she has multiple scars on her underbelly and sides from being repeatedly stabbed with a hoofpick.     i hate that people can do that without a thought to a living creature.

I am so happy for you both!  I can't fathom how someone could be that cruel to her- that is horrible.  Now she will get the life she finally deserves and what a beauty she is too

After reading in our local newspaper about a horrific story in what was done to a horse, I'm so glad to have read this thread with a happy ending!!!! There should be more people like you who can turn an animal's life around!
