Yami ~lolita swap pony for Sarahlacewing~

[Miserati]

I made this girl for Sarah because her original partner went MIA on this swap, and it's just no good to work really hard on something and get disappointed. So anyway...

I tried to hold the likes of Sarah in mind. She had reference pictures with tophats so I sewed one up using plain old black felt. Her dress is a mix of crushed velvet, patterned black cotton and blue tulle & ribbons.

I offset the dark colors by using lighter nylon shades. Tiramisu with plugs of tea rose and blizzard mixed in.

I love the blonde curls with the dark outfit! And the blue gives a really nice touch. The dress looks carefully made but what I love most is the top hat and her hair-do, adorned with fabric roses. Very pretty!

These are great pictures, but let me just say she is even more  FABULOUS in real life.  I am so thankful that you were willing to step in and make her for me when my partner when missing.  I am so so happy with her.  I'm amazed at your skill level.  She is going on the pony section of my mantle and will remain a treasured part of my collection always.

If you were ever going to commission a pony with real clothing, get miserati! If you didn't get to see the other one she did go look I will try to bump it up.
