HUGE amount of G1 ponies for sale in NC, "Stuff n Such"!

Someone on a G4 pony site posted that their work just got 200 G1 ponies and playsets, including a Paradise Estate in box (but the box is in a not-so-great state?) and MIB Sundae Best Crunch Berry, and are selling them from $4 to $54, depending on the rarity and state of the ponies.

the sealed one is a Sundae Best Crunch Berry which is also in FANTASTIC Condition. 
The prices are varying for the loose stuff, cause we also have combs and such matching them (we even had a few flutterpony wings and big brother hats). Also condition is considered.  we have some as low as $4-$5, but we have some as high as $54 because of the rarity (Majority of these will also have the combs with them as well as a bonus). We also got in puzzles, Lunch boxes, outfits and even one of the big Baby Ponies (Pink Dreams)
Paradise estate also came in, with the box (in kinda poor condition, but it's still the original box!)
that piece is our last tackle cause of how big it is.

If you ask about pricing, all the pricing for the store is done based on research (which is done for all the toys), so the price is usually in between high and low, but my boss will usually still go lower.

I'm sorry I can't link, but I'll just say it's in a certain merchandise-driven board of a certain image-based site...This person isn't on the Arena, but there are people here that would be really interested in this! They said they're in the "NC Triangle Area, the Stuff n Such at Cary Towne Center", so if you're in that area definitely stop in!!

Found it!  I sent the info to my friends in the area- hopefully one of them can go and check them out! I also found someone in the Greenville, NC area selling their collection of G1s.

I am at the place right now. Not impressed with the selection, and the pricing on everything is high-ish. I will be making another trip out this weekend, so if anyone is looking for things in particular, please PM me.

Sounds like they will have high prices if they are using the internet as a guide for price checks.   Hopefully nobody plans on getting a great deal on some ponies in person.  They don't sound like they'd be the negotiating type either... Not quite the "pony hunt" most of us are looking for.  But GOOD LUCK and CONGRATS to anyone who adds to their collection!

The ponies were definitely not priced to move. The old man who runs the shop needs to make a profit of course, and the store in general has loads of cool vintage geekery.

A few of the prices were a bit crazy. An Fair quality moonstone was tagged $24.99, a FF Blossom with noticeable spotting and darker head was also $24.99. The birthday party set was missing Celebrate and Party Time was marked $79. Yum Yum did have her wings, but the tabs were broken. Broken tabs on the wing of Rosedust as well, but her hair was gorgeous.

As for PE, the box was badly damaged. The man said he had not gone through it himself and put a definite price on it yet, but that he did think pieces were missing. I mused out loud that it was probably the forks

I did see Deb's collector guide out on the table and asked him of that was were he was getting his prices. He said that he was using it for identification but the listed prices were "so out of date and low" that he would buy him himself for those costs.

To be fair, I was in "let's pretend I don't know much about the ponies and am just getting some for nostalgia's sake" mode. At no point do i think he was aware that I was on a recon mission. I didn't tell him how far from what we consider fair, acceptable, and movable his pricing was. He seemed like a pretty cool old guy who loves collectables. Bless his heart .  He is willing to negotiate about a 10% discount on most of it, but even so, not great deals.

I did ask when the employee who made the post on the G4 boards would be in since she seemed to be in charge of dealing with most of it. If I can get back tomorrow I'll see if I can't find out more of what's going on and see if I can talk some sense into her about the pricing. Most of the ones they had I didn't need personally, but they should be better available to those who do want them. Cary isn't exactly a hotbed of pony activity.

Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, Sweetheart, baby Crumpet, a manky Trickles, and a lap tray have a fantastic new home.

Hmm.  Prices seem a little high but that seems to happen more often than not when you're dealing with a vintage collectible store as opposed to an actual thrift store (i.e Savers, Goodwill, etc.)  Still it might be worth a look for those who are interested. 

At any rate, congrats to anyone who get new ponies to add to their collections!
