Help finding a 80/90's cartoon title (FOUND)
« on: March 21, 2012, 11:30:14 AM »
I'm searching for a cartoon title which was aired in the 90's (probably the beginning).
It was something similar to x-men, the heroes had some special forces and latex suits ;) I remember a woman who had special mental powers, she had black hair and a violet suit and was very unsure of herself and somewhat shy. And the main villain was a guy dressed in red-black suit and had a black face with red glowing eyes and long thick white hair. That's all I can recall.
If it rings a bell to someone I'd be really thankful for any help and suggestions :)

Hi,
The description does not sound familiar at all, but I did a quick Google search.  It is Alienators?  I was just looking up 90's cartoon images and I saw one of the Alienators and there is a female character in a purple jumpsuit with black hair.  Hope I helped a little.

My first thought was Ultraforce but I don't think that's it.

Thanks  kittykat7 but it's not Alienators it was older than that. And it isn't Ultraforce either :(
I've been searching for more than an hour for it, found lots of other shows I watched as a kid but can't find it. I'm starting to think if maybe I remembered something wrong and mixed together few of the shows? XD

Glad you could find it.
There were so many new cartoons introduced in the 80's/90's it's difficult to keep them straight!

No one asked, but I'm going to give everyone a brief, seemingly random history lesson as to why this happened;

Prior to 1984, the FCC had a mandate that said programming aimed at children was not allowed to air shows with intent to market products directly to kids. In 1984, that mandate was abolished. After which we saw TMNT, Transofrmers, Inspector Gadget, He-Man, and of course, My Little Pony (I know He-Man is older than that, but He-Mans marketing blitz didn't go nutty till after 1984). When companies realized they could use the shows as 20+ minute adverts, they started producing them left and right, regardless of quality, always trying to find that hit which will have the studios and toy makers rolling in dough.
