Fairy Tail bird help!

Hi there


I have this Fairy Tail bird I was planning on putting on ebay but having looked up her name (Top Banana Tails) I've discovered something odd about her.  The 'mane'/ hair from her head should be a mix of colours like her tail but mine is just blue.  Is this a variant? I dont' see how all the other colours could have been removed lol...

Never seen a variant like that but it would be sooo neat ..you would have to open her up to make sure she wasn't a rehair.  (If she still has the metal clamp on the hair then probably original)

Probably a variant.  It's not common at all, so that's pretty neat!  I agree, check for rehair first ... she doesn't look rehaired, but I'd check.

Okay I did some research and the bird pictured here... http://p.etal.tripod.com/fttropicals.htm  has the same blue hair front tuft so I would conclude it is a rare variant.  congrats on the amazing find!

Also notice Sunny Tails pictured has an all green tuft which I would assume would be another variant
