Lanard glowing-headed sitting fakie info?

I found a really pretty Lanard at a bootsale last weekend. She was a bit manky but she had purple butterflies on her, so I bought her. After a quick clean-up she looks like this -

She had a battery compartment underneath her, but I couldn't work out how to get into it *blush* so I took her to my OHs and he managed to pop it open with a screwdriver. But he couldn't work out what she did, so after lots of squeezing over various parts of her anatomy I got her to do this

Does anyone have any more info on these? I found one on one of the fakie forums but no info as such, like what different designs did they come in? Where were they released? I've only seen this one, so how common are they?

I have seen these before (only in pictures I think), but only plain ones, none with symbols. Does your have symbols too Sebby?
What size are they, approx?

Yes mine is exactly the same with Butterfly symbols. I don't have it here but I estimate it to be about 10 cm tall
