So the cream colour is paint AND the white colour is paint? Ooops....I thought she was a cream colour and had been over painted in the white...

I think you had it right cat, the cream is the pony color under the white but the white, not the cream  looks pearly to me (maybe it's just the lighting). 
We need nightmimic to clarify if the paint is both, white or cream and if anything is really pearly

The cream colour is the plastic and the white is paint (what's left of it)
