Blindbag advice

Okay over the past 2 weeks I've managed to score pretty much all of the first wave of the blind bags except for the mane 6. But that's mainly because I have 4 of which I managed to collect back during the BigLots singles run and the full set that came with the ToysRUs exclusive set.
So I've been wondering should I bother to get the ones from the blind bags and maybe try my hand at customs or should I leave them be since I have the others from the prior sets?

I dont think the singles came with cards did they? I would probably get the blind bag ones too, just to have the card that comes with them in the bag.

If you only need 2 of the Mane 6 you could probably find a blind bag customizer that has them from the Toys R Us set... They come with a card like the blind bags if that's a main draw for you (though they are slightly different)

If I remember correctly I think the singles didn't come with cards but they did have character descriptions on the back of the blistercard/packaging.

Guess I should have worded my words better.
I do have the ToysRUs set, I'm just wondering if I should get the Mane6 from the blindbags to complete that wave.  Because if I do I'll have at least 3 duplicates of Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie, and Applejack and 2 of Rainbowdash and Fluttershy and I;m not sure what I'd do with the extras.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with the duplicates. I think there are differences, but they're minor. I do have a couple of Mane 6 duplicates (plus the TRU set, which is in its box and therefore doesn't count ), but they're to sit on my work desk

Oh I wouldn't worry about it then. The ponies are the same as the TRU set and, other than the flourish around their names on the front, the cards are the same too.
