Welp, the shipping costs for my purchase from Taobao is going to be $40. I was planning to SOMEHOW profit from this, but it looks like I'll barely break even. Might have to sell some on evilbay to make up for it. Dang.

If you were planning to sell on the Arena, just up the cost a little bit to account for it. I'm sure people will understand. And offering one or two on eBay is not bad either. That pretty much sums up my own strategy.

Yeah, the EMS shipping really adds a lot on. I ended up paying ~$100 on my first order. Luckily I ordered enough stuff that I was able to lessen the blow by spreading it across the thirty or so items I bought.

I'm sure the weight of Cadence is probably about the same as a fashion style pony as well, though.
This does make me wonder how much HathorCat paid for the shipping on that huge box of ponies, oh my god... @___@

I ordered 4 Pony (one for myself) and two Cadences. Your shipping will most likely be much less than that, no worries.

All together they weigh a little over 1 kg. Might just try to go to the bank today and see if they can allow a one-day payment to them so I don't have to wait until tomorrow for them to get back to me. :x

That's only ~$7 extra per pony, so it's not too bad. Especially considering what people will have to pay on eBay for one. I think you'll have plenty of willing buyers even if you price them enough to make you a small profit.

I have a lot of arena members who've told me they're interested in Pony, but no one has any idea as to what the price would have to be. I'll put up a "taking offers" thread when they arrive and see how it goes from there. Sort of like an auction, but not on eBay.

Flitter, I'd be very interested in a Pony and/or white FS Celestia.  Or anyone else who's getting extras.  I tried to place a Taobao order, but they sold out before it went through. 

I might be able to trade another prototype from Taobao, if anyone's interested.

Would love a Pony too. So many people have said they would love to put in on a group order though I'll doubt there is any chance of me getting one, as for keeping an eye out on Taoboa I know everyone is doing that now! It's going to be down to sheer luck.
