I need to come up with some money for my property taxes soon and I was thinking about selling my Pullip Clara's stock, but I'm hesitant since she's a limited edition, so I have a few questions.

1. What is the current value of Clara's stock?

2. By how much and how quickly does the value of Limited Edition Pullip stocks usually rise?

Not sure if this helps but I have a Eos with full stock in perfect condition (aside from wig, which is stock but cut) and even with a near perfect box. She sold for $150 on Pullipstyle but I was told her max worth was $100 (including the doll herself), and not much more for one without a hair cut.

That sounds pretty fair for a damaged doll. It's hard to compare with Eos though, since Eos was a global release of 2,000 while Clara was a Japan release with no official number of dolls produced. :/

Just saying but the doll was not damaged. XP
Anyways like I said I didn't know if it would help. I don't keep track of Pullip releases.

The doll itself was not damaged, but the wig was cut, so it's not mint anymore.

Well considering so many people rewig their pullips I don't think the value of the doll goes up or down that much with a cut wig (and Eos' wig wasn't that high quality to begin with).

as for your question, I think stock outfits are usually about 40-45% of the complete doll's value, maybe a bit more if the stock is desired. I saw on dollymarket that Chloi would go for about $230 complete on ebay (post was from feb 2012) so I'm guessing Clara's value is similar.

... with a limited doll, a lot of the value is in the "limited" aspect ... many people looking for the doll will want it mint ... not rechipped/rewigged/hair trimmed/etc sadly so that can bring the price down ... even a low quality unchanged wig can increase a limiteds value while a high quality replacement can reduce it  ... same with a restyle/trim/etc ...

value of a split can really vary from what i've seen, it really depends on the demand for it like was said above ... and even a high demand doll/stock price can vary greatly depending on if someone who really wants it and can spend the money on it see it ... chloi's stock is pretty amazing though good luck with selling. :)

If it were me, i would keep a limited edition stock together with the doll even if she's currently wearing something else. She will sell either way, Im sure, but I know it bums me out to get a nude limited and never be able to come by the stock (happened to me with HB1).

Thanks for the tips guys. I think I'll put it up for $95 (between 40-45% of $230) then and if it sells it sells.

SummerSkye, I never plan to sell Clara, but I'm not in love with her stock enough to keep it, so that's not really a problem for me as a seller/collector. I do love the little bunny ears, but they'll make kinks in her gorgeous wig if I put them on, so I don't even need those.
