Unexpected pony gifts

Have you ever been going about a normal day, not expecting anything, when suddenly your mom/friend/relative/etc gives you a pony/ponies that they just bought for you?


My mom did that to me just a few days ago. She found a few G1s, a G2, and a boxed G4 Twinkleshine (for custom bait) and about $13 at a thrift store and gave them to me. The G1s were Twilight (unicorn) Creamsicle, and Cotton Candy. I dunno the name of the G2. Sure, I already had Twilight and Creamsicle, and my older ones are in better condition, but how can I complain? CC was my first, and a G2 at a thrift store in the US? How often does that happen? Even if it's a double! They were dirty, VERY dirty, but they cleaned up well, and Twinkleshine is my 4th if her. My mom was happy too see how clean I made them. c: It's funny cause I told her that G1s/G2s has symbols on both sides of their butts just last week, and look what she found me. She said she left some G3s at the store cause these ones cost $10. This isn't the first time either, she got me some G3s late last November, and a couple more G3s back in the summer.
All in all, I was very pleased and grateful.

Oh my god! I love it when things like this happen! I wasn't expecting any ponies for christmas, and then my mum shocked me with a LOT of wingers!

I had mentioned a lot of wingers selling on ebay back last august and said how much I desperately had wanted them but then later forgot all about it, turned out mum bought them for me from another friend's ebay account :') Awwhhh!

I remember when I had asked for Chocolate Chipper back when I saw her in stores and my mom just looked at me like I was crazy. Well, when Christmas rolled around there was a strange little present from my parent's dog, Libby, to me. What was inside?  Why Chocolate Chipper of course!  Silly dog getting me a pony.

Awww, how thoughtful of your mom!  That is such a wonderful treat!!  My hubby surprised me with a winger iPhone case for Christmas.

my friends who are also big thrifters often send me phone pics of ponies and do you want them? :p I got a candy cane and sundae best waiting for me to pick them up this week!!

My mom would sometimes find me some. And then for Valentine's day my boyfriend surprised me with canterlot castle and the little ponies collector set from toys r us. My manager sometimes sends me pics of thrift store ponies to give me a heads up.
*Edit- Actually my manger also once got a MLP happy meal just to give me the toy. I have a cute little Cheerilee in my collection from her.

A friend of mine works in a charity shop and every time she sees me she empties a little bag of pony awesome out for me

My mum will pick me up anything pony that she sees...she is wonderful!

But an AMAZING member on here sent me a special little Christmas present which was completely unexpected....G4 Snowcatcher a G4 I didnt have...you know who you are sweetie! I still think it was one of the loveliest things to do!

My mom has occasionally picked up ponies for me.  One time. she came back from the thrift store with bags of g3s.

I've only had that happen once that I can remember and it was many years ago.  My dad had been picking up G1's at garage sales and then gave me a whole box of them as part of my christmas present one year.  It was really sweet.

My boyfriend's mom (who I live with) will sometimes let me pick out a G4 when we go shopping. Its usually not for any reason, she just tells me randomly I can get one. xD Once she went to the dollar store alone and came back with two fakies for me.

this has never happened to me, and i don't believe that this ever will. my mom only buys me ponies when its christmas or my birthday, and grandma buys me ponies only when she sees i'm really wanting them, and i fight her and tell her no but she does it anyway. no surprises for me!

The closest thing to this I've experienced is my father buying me a shirt with masquerade for a surprise... problem was that I already had it- and he was the one who bought me the original!
