Oh no! Scalp split! Can her head be saved?

Hi all,
I was re-rooting a MH CAM doll head (the sea monster) and a row of plugs split from the forehead to the back of the crown ( ie in line with the wig hole).  Can I glue the rip with superglue and add plugs to either side, or is the integrity of the whole head now questionable?
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You could try sewing it maybe?

Yes she can be saved. Sewing her up is the best way. Its a bit fiddlly but worth it. Super glue wouldn't do much good.

I had a scalp split on a pony once, and I used some really strong glue which I can't remember the name of to save her. She turned out pretty fine. It wasn't Krazy Glue, it was in a little metal tube and was thick and white.

But sewing sounds like a much better option! I actually never thought of that.
