the guy at the bottom is corvus who is both a magnificent b-tard and really really hard to draw because you have to make him both old and kinda hot at the same time while still making him look like a bird.

numi draws fanart for books nobody’s heard of : the musical
I was just re-reading Debi Gliori’s Pure Dead books, and I felt like doodling some of the characters. So have the Strega-Borgia kids (Titus, Pandora and Damp) and Tarantella.
How the hell do you even begin to draw a spider with lipstick, I do not know.
I honestly reccomend them? They’re a pretty fun read. The characters are golden, they somehow manage to make toilet humour funny, it has Satan running a cooking show on BBC Food, the snarkiest devils ever, the Mafia, and a really dark, elaborate plot involving good, evil, macguffins, the importance of family, the perils of immortality and the most badass nanny in the history of ever.
Seriously needs more love. Don’t be fooled by the silly beginnings, once it hits the fan, it gets grimdark.
Go forth. Read it. First one’s Pure Dead Magic. Get it on Amazon or something.

Well, technically they’re reading glasses, and not even glasses but rimless pince-nez, but still.
He came out looking a lot more come-hither than I intended. He’s actually the biggest goofball in the story, ahahahahhh…
