Traslucent hair?
« on: February 27, 2012, 02:35:13 AM »
I know some normal nylon hair is a little bit traslucent, but I'm hoping to find something that's as see-through as possible.  Weird request, I know.  In indigo, purple, and blue preferably.  Does anybody have any suggestions?

I'll give you a bump. but I have no real suggestions.  I bought sparkly blue tulle for a Nightmare Moon Custom, but never got around to making it :P

Hmmm, I don't know, I have never seen any, though I do know that you can buy monofilament (plastic fishing line stuff) in different colors, if you don't mind using something a bit more plasticy.   I suppose nylon thread might, as well, but again, not quite the same as nylon hair.

Transparent sewing thread might be the best route to go... I know it's not hair but it could work

Along the lines suggesting I would think beading material.  I have never seen translucent hair, though it sounds like a neat idea.
