So... Create-A-Monster, anyone?

I'm curious... Has anyone done anything special with their Create-A-Monster girls? Do you have any pics you'd like to share? If so, I'd love to see them! I personally adore the CAM sets, torso problem aside, and I just finished customizing my first one.

I used acrylic paint. ^^ It was honestly just like doing a full body repaint on a pony. I made the paint a bit thin and did it in layers.

She does have wings. I considered making new ones because I read a review on Amazon saying that they were ugly and didn't stay in, but when I actually received the doll, I found that they were nice and DID stay in.

Jupiter - go to Etsy and search 'monster high torso'. There's a gal from Australia who makes custom torsos in whatever color you want, including adding fine or star shaped glitter (I don't know if we're allowed to use shop names on forum. If we are, I'll post it. )

I LOVE the CAMs. I DETEST the lack of upper limbs, torsos, shoes and accessories. If Mattel would release generic accessory and shoe packs to mix and match for CAMs, I'd be in heaven.

Griping aside, I've rerooted a dragon (Brigit Drake), and am working on a night elf (wolf head with lower ears). No pics of the finished dragon until I can get her a pink body, though.

The pics of custom CAM's that are floating around Flickr and here are amazing! There are so many inspiring, creative collectors.

Oh, cool! Are you going to permanently attach the ears to the head? I've always been interested in doing something like that with the werewolf... Definitely post pictures when you're done.
