No, I'm sorry Saiko, I don't.  They were pretty mangled.  I just rip 'em out with pliers.  They were garbage by the end of things

No problem It was so worth it to be able to display all your CAM packs fully! I just hope all that pulling with the pliers didn't hurt your hands. I got a painful blister from just taking the hair out of the inside of a head!

Redid Operetta's hair. Still frizzy as heck, but, much better than the awkward box hair (the back was sooooo matted!)

Also- for those who have rerooted MH dolls- How difficult is it? My DOTD Lagoona is such a pain in that department! SShe has the most beautiful makeup and outfit... but even with the 'hawk washed out, I have noo clue what to do!

I have a question for anyone who has customized a MH doll.   Does the hair take to dying?  Like with the RIT fabric dye.  I am going to be making a custom soon and I am hoping to dye the original dolls hair, just enough to tint it so it is a slightly different shade.   I was just wondering if it would work, and if I need to worry about the hair staining the body or not.

i have tried 3 times to dye Frankie's hair pink...no luck. i even tried 2 different brands of dye (RIT and Tulip) ....i left the Rit on for several hours the last time, and nothing. I was really trying to avoid a full reroot.

Their hair is not made of the same stuff as pony hair but there is a method to dye them. I haven't tried it yet myself but I have seen it used for customs on the MH LJ with success.

Brief pitstop before bed: I finished about an hour ago and I'm so glad Now she's drying after a wash. I have more work to do on her tomorrow; securing her ears, deciding on and cutting a final length and finding an outfit that suits her. Will also have to take her outside to see if I can capture the awesome color mix she's sporting. The browns aren't picking up good :\

I found a TON of operettas, neferas, and toraleis at walmart today, and took operetta home with me. <3

Darn..   I was hoping to just tint the hair a bit, and I will still give it a try.   But if it doesn't work I think I will just keep the original color, as I don't want to do a re-root either.

Thank you for that!   Too bad it does not look to be permanent, as it says it can be washed out.   I was wanting a permanent solution.
