Thank you for being so lovely all of you ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I'm really quite proud of her, and I'm so pleased you all like her.
Oooh! How did you get such pretty braids? *o* I wanted to do that with one of mine...but I can't seem to get the hair to stay in a braid well. What did you use to secure the braids?
On the mane, I grabbed a section of hair of about 4-5 plugs and braided it very tightly, holding the pony between my legs, so the hair was constantly taut.
To secure it at the end I've actually sewn it. I can sketch a little tutorial if you want.
It's fairly simple, holds tight, doesn't damage the hair, no matter how long it stays, and is easy to undo too (you just pull a few strands out and it loosens it all, so you can pull the thread off).

To keep the braids together at the bottom I wrapped some silver wire around it, and curled the ends to make it more elegant.
It won't rust, but it might leave some marks if kept in for too long, so I'll replace it with ribbon eventually. Ribbon is always good.

Hope this was helpful :)

Very helpful, actually! My dolly hair just came in the mail yesterday. I would love to read a tutorial. You can pm me if it's easier. :) You know, you might could find a silver or blue ribbon and sew some accents on either one side or both. I bet it would look great with the pattern of her.

That's a really good idea actually. I'll get right on that. Thanks :)

As for the tutorial, I'll see what I can do.
