Hero LinkOutfit entirely hand-sewn, tunic is cotton and details/accessories are leather and metal.
Mane and tail are re-rooted in dolly hair in the colors of butterfly, caramel cream, lemonade, and individually hand-blended plugs of passion fruit and mango tango.
Ears are sculpted, Navi is a light blue cotton ball with plastic wings I painted from clear plastic in matte, neon, metallic and glitter acrylics. Ocarina is beads I assembled together and painted in light blue acrylics and neon blue acrylics.
Shadow Link"Where there's light, there's shadow". Since Link is the Hero of Light, in the water temple in the video game he faces off with a shadow version of himself. He's pretty challenging, because Dark Link mimics every move Hero Link does, because, well, you can't escape your shadow, lol!
Shadow Link has a full body repaint in a custom blend of acrylics I made to make a light pale gray. Eyes are layered and textured in blacks, blues, purples, grays and the pupils are metallic red, regular red and neon red.

Omni Link (Fierce Deity)In Majora's Mask, if you collect all the masks throughout the game you receive a mask that turns child Link into this Omni God presence called Fierce Deity.
This design is very personal to me, so I first made it back in my beginner days in 2007. I stripped that very custom down and took it apart, and rebuilt this new version from the old. I sculpted a piddly little stand for the first one, but threw it away and bought a wooden stand from Wal*Mart for this one.
I originally was going to go with a painted collage of images from Majora's Mask on the stand, but decided to do a wash of acrylics inspired by the colors in the last dungeon where Omni Link battles Majora.
I built up several matte metallic and glitter acrylic pigments for depth and detailed a rhinestone design on the front of it that contains two black triforces. Lined black hemp along the edge to divide the wash of acrylics from the silver border.
I nailed a wooden dowel into the wooden stand to permanently hold Omni Link up and position him upright in the rearing pose.
He has a full body repaint in pthalo blue and metallic black acrylics, and a custom hand-blended cream color for the head. Ears are sculpted. Carefully layered the face paint in acrylics, started off with soft neutrals and gradually built up to the main bold colors. Mane and tail are re-rooted in dollyhair marshmallow and moonlight.
Tunic is hand-sewn from a shiny web material but I used the reverse side of it so the shiny wouldn't clash with the shine in the moonlight pony hair.
Armor (as well as the weapons for the other Links) are aluminum flashing. All details are leather.
Recycled the sculpted sword horn from the old Omni Link custom I made in 2007, and reused it for this new one.
I will be making another Fierce Deity Link custom in the future, but I won't use a g3 pose for it again. I will find a g1 pose so I can fit more detail on it.
But I'm glad I was able to revive the old one and make some use of it.
