So, blind bags...does everyone want them?

I never disliked them, but I honestly don't really "get" the hype either. There are some that I do want- the crystal ponies, Honeybuzz because I love her, and Roseluck because she's so elegant. My Wal Mart has been out for a while though, but no biggie. At least I was able to get Twinkleshine last night instead!

They are cute, but I definitely like the bigger ones much more. They're more like dolls as opposed to little statues, and the larger ones just feel much more like toys to me than something you would put on a shelf and display.

I don't care that much about them. There are a couple i wouldn't mind owning but if i never find them i will not be very bothered by it.
I own a couple of the G3.5 and mermaid blindbag ponies and i think their paint job was kind of sloppy.
If the G4 ones have the same kind of paint job i can't say i will be very impressed by them.
But i never was a big fan of ponyville either. Though ponyville at least had some fun playsets.

I didn't want them until they came to the U.S.
No way I'd pay international shipping for tiny molded hair ponies. Except Minty maybe. But $1.96? I can do that. Now I've got the entire first wave and they are so cuuuuute! *addiction quickly forming*

I have 5 of them, I think they're adorable!  I have Fluttershy, Tea Love, Rose Luck, Bumblesweet, and Lemon Hearts

I wanted them the moment I saw them! I have always loved tiny sculpted toys. I liked playing with them when I was little and I like displaying them now. They're just so cute. Though I admit I'm not crazy about the Rarity pose, and the Pinkie pose sometimes looks a little odd...but over all I really like them. And the variety of colors is fantastic! Makes me not care so much that there aren't a whole lot of poses. I want almost all of them, though there are a few I don't car for much (i.e. a couple of the main 6, and a couple random color combos that don't suit my fancy much). I just hope we get all the waves eventually!

My girls love them, so therefore I love them too:)  I really like being able to buy ponies in stores.  I haven't found any blind bags where I live yet, but I'm hoping they will show up soon.

I am surprised at how much I like them. I never liked the Ponyvilles at all and thought they were just stupid looking.
I think what I love about the blind bag ponies is just for the fact I love the G4 style. They also come in a huge variety of new ponies and some of them are pretty. I wish they'd turn some into brushables.

I didn't like them at first but I feel like I have gone a little mad with BB fever.  I guess for me it's more the thrill of the hunt.  There are only 3 or 4 I actually want to have a keep.

I love them I think my favorite thing is the color combinations. So many more unique colors and combinations than the regular brushables! And we're also seeing some popular background characters that we haven't gotten as brushables yet. (Roseluck! ) I also just like having a lot of ponies. I like to look at them, I like to play around with them absentmindedly when I'm working on other things, I like to decorate my room with them...blind bag ponies are just really good for all those things I really do wish there was more of a variety of poses though...I can't help but think of the corresponding main 6 character every time I see them. A couple of more generic pony styles would be WONDERFUL.


I can totally understand how they might not be everyone's cup of tea though. And you definitely shouldn't feel like you're forcing yourself to buy them. If you're not sure that you really want one or are afraid of collecting things you don't need, just hold off for a while and see if they grow on you in the meantime.

I care the most about collecting the regular ponies; I'm definitely not going out of my way for the blind bags. Part of this is down to the fact that I haven't found them in any stores where I live so far... If I stumble across any in stores, I might buy one or two each time I shop there.

My local Asda is still selling the G3 blind bags.

I won't go out of my way for them. I may pick up one or two if they show up in my stores just to see them up close but I'd rather save my money for other things.

So I received my first 3 blind bag ponies today (Sea Swirl, Lovestruck and Lucky Dreams) and I love them!!! They're so cute!!!
Now I'm hooked, I want them all! (despite the sloppy pait jobs  )

I'm interested in them, but not willing to go out of my way with expensive shipping for them.

I just hope the blind bags return here. Wave 1 was stocked ONCE around the middle of last year and they sold out before I could find any... haven't heard hide nor hair of them around my area since.

MLP  is SUPPOSED to be brushable plastic horses.  Can't brush molded hair.    Never liked them or Ponyville.
