I don't own any Pullips (yet) but I hope to get one, too. I looovee my Taeyang, though.

I'm currently saving up to get my first BJD, but I'm such a newbie to dolls I'm worried I might make a poor purchase. I'm actually looking at one model right now I reaallly like, and he's only 200 bucks (roughly). But at the same time...he's only 200 bucks, so I'm afraid he's not very good quality. >.<

Does anyone have any tips for a first time BJD buyer? Or any links to a place to get them maybe second-hand? (If that's even a good idea).

The female is Deeanna Denton, also made by the Tonner Doll Company. Tonner also does the Lord of the Ring Dolls but I believe Galadriel is in the 16" size slim body like Tyler Wentworth. Deeanna is in the 17" size but the body is more...shall I say curvy. The outfit she has on is actually from the Narnia dolls that Tonner did, it was Susan's dress.

I actually have some pictures of Snape with the Tyler size doll, before I got a doll in the 17" size. The smaller 16" slimmer size doll just doesn't quite look to be the right size for him. You can kind of take pictures and make them work together but the 17" more womanly figured size dolls seem to fit much better when taking Pics with the Snape doll.

I think I'll end up changing his eyes though, not so much liking the pink anymore.

Anyone have any 12 or 14mm grey glass eyes? :B

The hairs for his eyebrows need to be painted, and he needs to be glossed then he'll be all done and headed home ;u; ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff can't wait! Expect Ashley spam in the near future!!

I'll definitely be snapping a new pic of my Pullip family tonight, I'm having fun playing with the camera!  I got these two beauties in the mail today....the first is Katie, a Liv doll.  I bought her to kinda "test the waters" and see if I like the line.  I am SO glad I did.  I love her to bits!

And THIS one has been on my wantlist for ages...18 years, to be exact.  She was released in 1994, and I've been fawning over her ever since.  Never thought I'd be able to afford her, but I sniped her on eBay for a VERY good price and I love her just as much as I knew I would!

Love the Mackie Queen of Hearts!  I remember drooling over these dolls in the 90s, too.  When the new Barbie Bazaar magazine would come, I'd pour over the ads showing all the newly released collector dolls.  A few years ago, I managed to get a Goddess of the Sun for a really good price.  They truly are amazing dolls, congrats!

Thanks!  I remember fawning all over Barbie Bazaar too, lol.  I'm totally in love with her, I'm afraid she's made me want one or two other Mackie dolls.  It's awesome that you found Goddess of the Sun for a reasonable price...I'll definitely be stalking eBay a little more for them.
