Monday: NA
 :frolic:
Tuesday: 2 points!  1950 on cals and did both cardio and a little strength training today!  I worked out a touch longer to make up for going 50 cals over.
 :frolic:
Wednesday: 2 points!  Just over 1400 calories (I shoot for 1700-1900, but if I'm not hungry and I go under once in a while, all the better!)  Worked out for 30 minutes, got my water, veggies, etc!
:frolic:
Thursday: 2 points! I grabbed the "Lose It" app from Zenna's post.  I like it so much better!  I ate 1,628 calories and did 30 minutes of treadmill and 15 minutes of weight training.
 :frolic:
Friday: 2 points!  1489 for calories and although it was my fitness rest day, we went out and I strolled around for almost an hour, so I think that can count as a point right?  Seeking activity even on a rest day?
 :frolic:
Saturday: 2 points!  1,328 calories (we even went to Applebee's and I had a steak and veggies YUM!) I had a killer workout, 35 minutes on the treadmill at a very brisk walk and I did my weights.
 :frolic:
Sunday: 2 Points!  1,569 calories (1,154 if you count what I burned!) Hubby needed the treadmill right when I did, so I improvised and got out the Wii DDR and Danced my socks off for 35 minutes!  I was so sweaty lol.

Points for the Week: 12!

Points today were very hard won for me. Tuesday's and Thursday's are my busy days since I'm working from 8-4 +1 hour each side for the drive during my Field Experience for my graduate degree. I did great until we went grocery shopping before dinner, I caved and bought the donut I'd been craving for a couple of months. So splurged a bit nutrition wise, but under my 1330 for the day. Ate veggies for my afternoon snack and my lunch was yogurt and fruit. I even managed to get my water in today.

Definitely didn't feel like working out, so it was a chore to get on the treadmill, but I did my Day 2 for c25k and alternated at a 2 incline between 3-4-6. Went about 2 miles.

So I managed it today! Just barely though!

2 points for Kira today! Did my walk, had three healthy meals and some apple slices as a snack. No dessert, either!

Tuesday - Day 2 - 2 pts

Yay!  I did my workout earlier in the day, so my walk came later but I pushed it past 40 minutes instead!  Got in 8000 steps instead of 7000!  I love my Walking Trainer DS game (picked it up for $7 on sale!  Woo!  Now to get Just Dance, haha).  I'm finding Workout 1 on the 30day shred video a bit... easy... in some parts.  Have it memorized already.  Perhaps I'll move to workout 2 today.

As for nutrition, I managed to have 7 cups of water (Yay for getting more than 6).  I plan on buying a new Brita pitcher this week as ours looks rusty.  Might make going for water a bit more... appetising, haha.  I also did NOT have cereal.  Made oatmeal with apples for most of the sweetening.  And for sugar, I am SO proud of myself.  Had a square of dark chocolate after lunch (60cals) and a small piece of candy cane (I need something sweet) after supper.  But I brushed my teeth before girls night, and did NOT cave to the sweets there!  Yay!  Lunch was my first pasta meal of the week... Only can have one more this week (edit:  realized today's lunch is also pasta as I'm making veggie lasagna, but I have no other pasta in the meal plan), and supper was homemade taco salad with homemade avocado salsa.  SOOOO good.  I love that it's easy, too.

I agree, I don't think I could eat takeout pizza.  I've been making it myself for a couple of months now (when I realized it was once again cheaper to make myself... especially using leftover items in my fridge instead of them going bad).  We bought one a while ago, and ate it, and I told my husband we aren't wasting our money on even sale pizzas.  I just need to make sure I make a green smoothie to go with it this week instead of milkshake... it's a weekly thing for us, hahaha.  The kids look forward to it every friday.

Time for breakfast!  Yay for no cereal this week (I'm sure hoping I can do it... I have already noticed a difference in my energy for the day).

Everyone is doing well so far! I went on the scale today and I have lost weight. I'm not saying how much, because I don't want to jynx it, but let;s say I'm happy! Oh, and I didn;t lose it just fromn these two days, haha, I've been doing this for over a week now. At the end of the 90 days I'll let you guys know how much has come off in total, but I am happy to say I fully expect to reach my goal. I am so proud of myself. This has been harder than quitting smoking, I swear, and the cravings get really bad. Tea has become my very best friend!

So far, I haven't had any candy except for two small Vietnamese sesame candies which have hardly any sugar.  I've also drank almost a full bottle of water!  :D

Btw, not sure if I made it in before sign ups closed or not.  :/

I don't have to worry about water, I am constantly drinking it. They keeping thinking I might be diabetic because of my extreme thirst, but it's never shown.

I failed yesterday.  I started off fine, but my husband and I went out to dinner Red Robin) and then a movie.  I got chicken instead of a burger and had a small salad, but I couldn't resist the bottomless fries and ate more than I should have.  I would have been ok, but we had a popcorn coupon for the movie that was expiring, so I had popcorn too.  And I didn't work out.

If I work out today (which is supposed to be a rest day), can I make up for that lost point?  XD

I am remembering my vitamin though!  Usually not until I come here to update, but at least I'm taking it.  Hopefully it becomes habit soon, because I need the extra nutrition.  I hardly eat anything with iron in it and I still need to work on eating more veggies.  About the only thing I get enough of is calcium and vitamin C

Jan. 31st ~ 2 points
I almost didn't make either of my points yesturday.  I waited to long to eat dinner so I was starving by the time I finally ate and ate to much. And I didn't really feel like working out.  And honestly if I had not been in our Pounds for ponies group I would have just let it go at that and would not have exercised but I wanted to be able to say I got at least one point.  So I went ahead and did my exercise to blast away the extra calories I had eaten and it put me 8 calories under my limit for the day.  So I get 2 points for yesturday.

This morning though, I came down with the stomach bug that has been going around in my family.  My husband got it from somewhere and then my kids picked it up from him and I thought I was going to get away with not catching it but I was wrong.  So I won't be exerciseing today but since I don't have much of an appetite I will probably be under my calories today.

At least you had chicken and a salad.  It takes alot of will power to not order something more scrumptious at a restaurant.   And it was his birthday.  I think during a special occasion its ok to splurge a little bit to celebrate.   :)   My son's 1st birthday party is this weekend and I think I'm going to eat a small piece of cake that day with everyone anyway.

And making up your point on your day off is a great idea!   :)

Ok... I'm a bit late to the party... but like others, I'm going to try to keep track of my points etc, in one post a week... so here goes!

Week 1: Jan 30 - Feb 3

Monday, 01/30
Nutrition: Cherrios for breakfast. UGH. Trying to stay away from Cereals, as I've read they actually make you hungrier, but hey! It's breakfast! PB & J for lunch, with a Cheesestick, + glass of milk (ok, a little sugar, but I'm using natural PB, and Sugarfree jelly... so that helps...). Baked Chicken + glass of milk, for dinner with hubby.  +1

Fitness: Fired up the Wii... did 15 mins of stretching/yoga etc. My yearly cough has returned with a vengence.... so doing cardio was sorta out, as I had a tough time breathing.  + 0 (not giving myself a point yet...)

Tuesday, 01/31
Nutrition: Cereal again. (Blarg! I need to get eggs...  >_<  We're out.) PB & J, + cheese stick, + glass of milk, again for lunch... need to work out an alternative I can stomach... Dinner: Homemade chilli + glass of milk, with hubby... made sure to take a smaller portion than normal. :D +1

Fitness: Stretched/yoga on Wii again, 15 min. Still trying to tame my cough.... +0

Wednesday, 02/01
Nutrition: Ate the last waffles in the house (I know... bad. But it is breakfast, and I went light on the syrup.) + glass of milk. PB & J + cheesestick for lunch. Dinner... as soon as I eat it, will be leftover baked chicken. + glass of milk. + 1

Fitness: Cough is better... did a touch of cardio 15 min, plus 15 min stretching.... + 1.

Total Points for the week:

Ok... Trying to stick to this. Thankfully the Wii does make the act of working out quite fun! And it's helping to track my progress too!

Now I just need to sit down and figure out some more meals to keep me at a calorie limit... (I had an equation that hubby and I were using, to help each your ideal weight... Trying to find that notebook again...  >_< )

Still need to send a FB friend request! GAH this week started off busy! :drunk:

Only one point today:( So i have a total of 4 so far. I was able to be under my weight goal but it was a busy morning....and as the day went on i got worse. Hhmmmm can you catch a bug from the arena? So no work out was reached. I really was hoping a better start this week...bummer.

On a positive note. I made cupcakes the other day and frosted them..i normally eat a cup of batter...so love the stuff. I only took two tastes and that was only to make sure i had everything tasting right. So maybe a teaspoon ful. I made a tiny cupcake for me. It was like a 1/4 of an inch high...very small but it kept me from taking a larger cupcake with frosting...i did promis myself a G4....well my walmart just got the bkind bags so i got them after i taught lessons today.

So thursday goal will be more active. Work out and house cleaning in the morning. Still working on 2000 cal. The 12 for each work out instead of 10 has really helped. I feel i am doing more good.

Well hope to feeling better.
