Brushable Celestia: What's' Inside?

Hey, has anyone beheaded her yet? I'm wondering if the wings will make it possible to get the tail out when customizing...

Well, I bought a new one today, but I don't think I really had to to guess what's inside. I think she solid polastic inside the body. Someone took apart a Shine-bright Rarity before and found this to be true. I didn't actually cut the wings out or anything, but digging around the neck plug, I could tell there was nothing down there. Also, if you squeeze the body, it doesn't squish. So, I might try to think of a way to change out the tail, but I'm not sure if this is really gonna work

My understanding is that brushable Celestia is a lot like the Breezie ponies wherein you have to pop off the wings gently and inside there's just a little cavity for the tail to hide in. This is something I saw in the Tutorial section of dA. If I wasn't on my phone, I'd link you.

Yeah, I'm working on customizing one and it is a pain to get apart. The neck plug is long and the wings didn't seem to want to pop out easily. Her tail was anchored in her leg. Don't have pics at the moment but she isn't as easy to take apart compared to the other G4s.

So, did you get the wings out? Did that make the tail accessible? Sounds like it's not worth taking the neck plug out then.

Wow, thanks, KiwiSquirtBottle! I'm glad to see that it's worth taking the wings out! I was thinking of taking a power drill to her a-- bottom!

O.o I didn't know her wings are attached on. That reminds me of the Flutter Ponies!

By the way! Has anyone tried to dye one of these or a pony of similar density?

Oh ho! So there IS a cavity you can get into! I didn't see this untill too late. I have a bit of gluing to do on the neck since I thought they were like the regular brushables. I didn't know about the wing cavity so I ended up clipping the tail, drilling the hole larger and gluing in the tail. I thought it was done that way in the factory because there was alot of glue at the base of mine's tail.
