I got an *Amazing* extra for my partner today!

I am pumped!

I also received a pony that would be perfect except she has two teeth marks on her, like animal teeth marks, one on either side of her face. I am really torn about her. Her hair is amazing and she has no other marks or flaws. Why did it have to be on her face?! *exasperated*

Favorite colors? Umm? I love orange, but a burnt pumpkin spice orange, not a bright, loud hunter orange. I love autumn colors, orange, yellow, reds and browns. I am planning on painting my pony room a pinkish red color. I also wear a lot of black, blue and green. I guess you could say I like all colors, especially jewel tones. I don't care for pastels, though. They seem washed out and faded to me.

The waiting for ponies to arrive safely always gets me nervous too if they are for my swap partner. I dont mind so much if its just something for me (unless its a mega grail or rare

Aww Clones thats a shame about the pony with bite marks

I guess it depends on how picky your partner is as to whether to include her in the parcel . Some people dont mind flaws so much if its for their army ponies

sorry that doesnt sound very helpful does it?!

Maybe you should ask the question as to whether everyone would mind something like that? then your partner will answer and you'll know for sure

new question, because a pony I got wasn't quite as nice as I'd hoped: Do you mind restorations/repairs on Nirvanas? I mean like eye or symbol touch ups, not like complete rehairs.

Personally, as long as the pony is noted as a restore(like RH under a foot for rehair or whatever) I don't mind at all!

why I collect my army It all started with a error Blue Belle in a mixed lot from a non collector, I'd never seen such a thing or even heard of it! I love how unique they are; no two have been identical.

Then when I found an error Blue Belle in a bait box at the MLP Fair one year, I just started buying bait Blue Belles, and it's paid off a few times now!

Then one day I realized there were very few ponies in my collection I wouldn't trade for a new Blue Belle of the same value(when I traded MO Dabble for an error, lol!) and the rest is history!

Do you mind restorations/repairs on Nirvanas? I don't mind restores at all, but I like to know if that is the case.

Favorite color: My faaaaavorite is pink, but I love purple, and pale green, and dark charcoal grey.

why I collect my army: I've like pirates since before liking pirates was cool.. or something? haha. I have a pirate-y last name, and there were a lot of pirates in history where I grew up. So when I first started collecting and discovered that there was a PIRATE pony, I fell in love instantly. Barnacle just has so much personality, and his colors are so great. I love everything about him <3

edit: Also, I just took the plunge and officially bought the first pony for my new army (the second of that pony, but the first duplicate means it's the first army purchase!) ...Wiggles

Big NO - most of my Nirvanas got restored (at least mots of my brazil ponies) dunno why but they all needed new hair =)I luv restoring ponies.

Why I collect my army?

No clue.
It all starts with variants and after I had 15 variants it was also an army.
And cuz I love variant ponies - I have quit a bunch of armys =)
Like I said before, I'm not the typical army collector.
I luve variants and not one and the same pony 100 times =)
Also always could need some upgrades or double for customs.
Or also luv customs / versions I don't have yet.
I sound like a complicated swap partner lol

Do I mind restores? no, but I would mind a totally repainted symbol (I prefer Nirvanas as they are over the restored version)

Why armies:

Sparkler is my favourite pony.
I just managed to find loads of brides on car boot sales - as someone asked me one day if she could have acouple of them for customising (and did not want to pay or trade for them as I had so many LOL what a reason - I payed for them on the booties too!!!) I decoded I keep them all!!!!
Donkeys and Giraffes were my fav childhood fakies!

No I dont mind at all

saves me some time doing it myself (although I do love to restore ponies

) The only thing with restoring and rehairing Nirvanas is that I like them rehaired etc in their original color.. when we're talking normal ponies for my fave pose army (but not my C+R army

) I dont mind rehairing in different colors

Rehairs or restored nirvanas: Not an issue to me. As long as its tastefully and skillfully done, go ahead. Even full rehairs are alright to me. I had PKW rehair my Brazil Heartthrob as she had a buzz cut, and she looks fab!

Favourite colours: Purple (either dark plum purple or light lavendar purple though, not too keen on the middling pinky-purple

) Black, and Forest Green

Why I collect my armies: Well, I remember Gusty as a childhood pony. I too remember choosing her out of many others at a car boot when I was much younger, and she's been my favourite pony ever since. When I found out about her variants, I wanted them all, and eventually ended up feeling sorry for the unloved, less well-kept Gusty's at ponycon, and so those came home with me too. Now ill take all the Gusty's I can get

The Heartthrob army grew when I bought a lovely Italian HT, and then followed up by buying the stunning Brazilian not long later. She's in my favourite pony pose, and she has some amazing variants too. I guess both my armies started off as variant armies, but grew to incorporate any of that pony!

Restores on Nirvanas: Hmm, I currently don't have any nirvanas, but I would think that I'd prefer them to be as much original as possible! Unless of course they're pretty grungy and have had a rehair or something, like MeruDesu mentioned. But even if the hair is trimmed or something I think I would prefer it just left that way

Why I collect my army: I'm just starting out on the army road, but I've picked Coco Berry as she just always makes me smile, and looks so cute and innocent and happy. ^_^ She cheers me up! I would not be able to leave any behind if I came across them.

Restores on Nirvanas: OK with me

Colours: Pink, Purple, Blues, pastels.

Why collect an Army: I found a Parasol one day and fell in love with her, then I found Nirvanas and wanted one of each kind, and it kinda grew from there, current goal in 100 Parasol's..I'm at 56 so far if you don't count the 7 plush. (63 all up)
