Oh dear, I'm having problems with one of the customs I wanted to get for my partner. I had some commissioned to do it and it turned out great. But the person shipped in a padded envelope and the custom broke. So I send it back to her to fix it. She fixed the custom, stuffed it in a box that was too small and the custom broke again. I'm so frustrated right now! But it's really good to know that we have the extra time. So I hope I'll be able to sort this out in time!

my thoughts exactly - if I make a custom, especially on commission, I make sure to pack her extremely well! Heck, I'm even hand-delivering my Triforce custom with sculpted wings, as I'm scared she'll break in the mail! (luckily I'm going to the town near where the recipient lives in a week x) )

I hope next time they will ship the pony out in tons of bubble wrap and a very thick cardboard box...

I really don't know what to do now. I would try to fix the custom myself, but I'm not a customizer myself and I want the custom to be perfect. :/ What really makes me angry though is that the person wants me to pay shipping back to her again. And really, why should I do this? It's not my fault that it broke.

No. Way.
You should NOT have to pay shipping back for an item that s/he's packed so badly it broke twice
Perhaps you don't want people in the swap helping, but I could help if you'd like some help, I'm a customizer. I'm so sorry this has happened to you

if this turns nasty, you should write to a mod about it and possibly also in TS.

Oh, I see... it might be an idea anyway though, if it's over dA or so, so that other people know that this person might be hard to work with.
No problem, it breaks my heart to see this. I put in so much effort and love into my customs that I make so I can't for my life understand how you can be careless with it like that :/

I think I just excessive a bit - I just wanted my partner pretty happy and I had some much fun crafting and buying - so don't be intimidated - I bet all boxes will be awsome it's not about how much you have it's about what's inside and just one package could be better than 20! =)
