The halloween dolls look awesome!   Well, I don't care for Clawdeen's linty looking fur.    But I love the one with the wings!   I do think I agree about keeping them MIB.   I'd be afraid to mess them up!

I do wish they would have shown some of the new dolls though, or the new rumored release of Spectra.  *nom*

I don't have any monster high dolls.  I don't really want to start collecting them but I think I have decided to buy a frankie.  She is just adorable.  I wish they had these when I was younger.  But I don't know what kind to buy.  I am having trouble finding good pictures.  Can anyone recommend a good site that has decent size and quality photos of her fashion and generations. Or is anyone here selling a frankie maybe?

I'm like you, I don't need another thing to collect!   But I did buy a Spectra and her clothes off eBay, still waiting for them to arrive. 

One thing you can do is a Google search, and even search eBay.  You will be able to see the different versions and maybe find the one you like best!

I *love* the Halloween Draculaura and I really like the Halloween Frankie too.  I'm going to try to resist her as much as possible to save some money.  I'm kind of "meh" about Halloween Cleo and Halloween Clawdeen I was like "What the heck?!"  I'll pass on the playset.  It's cute but I don't have the space for it and I don't want to spend that much on it.

  I tried searching and I found some cool checklists but there are like a ton of fashion shots/arts/photography with custom dolls.  How do you know which outfits go with Frankie?

Edit: I kind of like the pajama one... I like the one with the neck tie and the swooshed back hair but those earrings look meh (do they come off).  The plaid dress and updo are cute (but does the hair come down?)

The "Monster High Release List" sticky on this forum has small pictures, but you can see what each doll's stock looks like. If you like any of them, you can search for that doll on Amazon to see (usually) much bigger stock photos, where you can see the details much better. :3

The earrings do come out, rather like Barbie earrings, and that one's hair can be taken down fairly easily. It's just held back with a rubber band. She's a Basic Frankie.

as for the special itself:

Wow. I did not like that.
I didn't like Cupid (wtf was really the point of her?)
WTF happened to Deuce?? Not only was he removed from the theme but his character was f'ed up.
Yeah, why is Ghoulia suddenly torn between two guys when Slow-Mo was always otherwise her crush?
Torelei....no. Just no.
Valentine's voice/accent. Need I say more?
Draculaura is rather unlikeable as well.

Those are *just* the glaring things.

The only postives really were Jackson and Holt managed to not look like girls for a change.
The pink catgirl that's been around since the beginning got to shine a little. (There's Chesire Cat thoery on LJ. I like it. Makes sense.
Abbey! Characterwise she's really growing on me big time.
Heath! He needs a doll liek NAO!

I think I'm finally over the hate for the 3D animation. After watching it its actually done really well. So Glad i Didn't have to wait to see it.

All I can say is, wow. Wow woW WOW!! The animation really wasn't all that bad. I thought it was gonna be a little below my expectation but it actually met and exceeded it.

The voice of Ghoulia and Deuce were kinda different, but it isn't bad enough to ruin it.

Now I kinda wish I grabbed cupid the first time I saw her. *Face Palm* Knew I was gonna regret it. Wth was I thinking. =_=;

And if that is a picture of Venus McFlytrap. If that is her, I want her!! Kinda sucks how there isn't a Flytrapish looking feature on her (except for the color scheme of green and pink and vine bracelets) but still, she's still pretty!!

I really liked it. Not as much as Fright On! though. And not just because of the 3D, which wasn't as bad I'd feared.

Abbey continues to be my favorite character, she's so awesome. About Ghoulia, in one of the webisodes she did have two zombie boys fighting over her, Slo-Moe and someone else. So that wasn't totally unprecedented.

I hope that plant girl in the background is Venus, she looks adorably Poison Ivy-esque. I am unusually fond of plant monsters. X3 Also, one of my biggest Monster High wishes is an aristocratic boy vampire doll! Valentine would be PERFECT! As would Bram. But really, any would do. If they don't produce a character, perhaps I'll get my wish with the male CaMs later this year...
