I've got a question! Will there eventually be a forum menu on the side like the old site had? My lazy self loved that feature.

Unknown, but I'll keep an eye open for a feature like that we can install.

Will we eventually be getting the shout block back?

I was unable to find one compatible to this forum's version, but hopefully one will crop up someday and we can install it.


Maybe this pink them doesn't have all the features/buttons? I'm on a blue theme.

Just curious, but will the non MLP-related sub forum categories (Like the Dollhouse) be returning? Or are the new arena gonna be strictly MLP related?

They are already here. You'll have to go to your profile and look at "Group Membership." You can join the Dollhouse and/or LPS forums any time you like. The other two sub-forums you have to request to join.

a couple of question from me:
While the old Arena was having problems recently my new posts were not adding to my post count, its been stuck on 474 for a long time, will those posts ever be added to my count?

Due to the glitch of the old Arena, those never-counted posts are forever lost to the ether.

You can also access the pm's from your profile, which is in the top bar, or you can click on your name after you've posted

  it says I'm not allowed, I'm locked out of all profiles; haha, just my luck.  I also don't have the option of editing my posts, if you guys need to know who can and can't?

This is exactly what is happening for me as well.      And thanks Kaoskat, but unfortunately I can't PM anyone to let them know.   ButterflyButtons, it won't let me access my profile in any way.  Thanks for trying though.   I'm sure someone will see this here and get around to it...I know how busy the admins must be with much bigger problems.

I notice that although my sessions are set for 'forever', I am constantly logged out every time I close the tab. Is this just me and my browser settings or an error somewhere with the forum cookies?

(btw, am ready to help in anyway I can with the new arena, be it techie stuff or a small donation!)

I'm just trying to make sure I'm not completely blind... Is the classifieds section simply not moved over yet or am I overlooking it? If it's not moved over, are we going to have it again or do I need to make a sales thread?  I also can't find a trader feedback forum.  Are we moving to only having trader feedback available next to our names?  Thanks for the help and all your hard work!

When you saved the link to the arena in your favorites, did you save it before or after you logged in? I had that happen to me too and had to go back and delete the previous favorites listing and save it again after I logged in.

Classifieds not moved over yet Eskara1862. They are working on getting it here soon though. And I believe that feedback is only currently available next to a person's name and I don't believe there are plans to change that.

Classifieds will be coming, once we can find a compatible option. For now you may want to start a For Sale thread.

The Trader Support forum is still there. But the individual feedback is linked directly to your profile. You can search for specific members using the Member List at the top.

This is a not so important question, I like the calendar but is this something just for viewing for members that mods update? I was wanting to put my birthday on there but didn't know how. I'm loving this new site, thank to everyone that has put in this hard work. Definitely worth the wait!

I believe you go to "profile" then "forum profile" to add your birthdate  and then I believe it is added to the calendar.

Yahoo, I have my Profile and messages and can edit my profile now

And edit my posts   
and getting topic notices to my email...
