Ocean-view Ponies!!

We went to the beach this weekend.  My brother-in-law and his family rented an oceanfront house for a few days and invited us to visit, so we had an overnight stay and got to play in the sand. 

I decided that I had to take some seaside ponies with me.

I'm glad I did, because they made me smile every time I saw them.  It was just fun to have them along, and they stayed safe in our room.  And I took a few pictures of their little adventure.

We were on the Oregon coast, pretty much straight west of Portland.  It was quite breezy/windy, which made it rather cool.  We still had a good time, though.

However, the sunburn on the tops of my feet hurts...

I love pictures like that. What a very nice idea to take them all to the beach. The ponies all look like they belong there.

I also took some ponies to the beach with me this past weekend. We were in Atlantic City for a convention and the beach was a short walk away from our hotel.

Sweet!  Anywhere near Newport, by chance? The Oregon Coast is breathtaking..I sorta miss the weather over there! As a Texan, that's almost speaking treason..

Quite a long way north of Newport, actually. 

My dad was from Texas, so I am half-Texan.  :p  I have relatives there, too.  I would not like weather there at all.

Yeah, the only town names I really remembered were Newport, Corvallis, Portland and Tillamook ( because of the cheese! ) There was a little convenience store either in Seal Rock or Otter Rock.. (wanna say Seal??) that sold awesome tamales and various berry wines.

haha! I have gotten used to the humidity, but my hair still hasn't!  It would take me like two days to get used to the 'cold' up there, but by week's end I was dreading heading back to Texas.
