Dollar Store G4 Finds!

As a collector with, hm, let's say a slightly unstable financial situation? I tend to limit myself to blind bags and the Dollar Store for my G4 purchases. Fortunately, the Dollarama chain here gets in ponies from a few years back at only 3$ each (usually), though the selection is very unreliable. As today was tax rebate day I went to see if I'd get lucky and OH! My gosh!! There were so many of the Rainbow Power line (all the maine six except for Twilight) and even a couple of POP ponies even though I thought they'd sold out a while ago!

Ended up snagging Fluttershy and Rarity Rainbow Power brushables and cleaned them out of POPs by snagging the starter kit Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy they had!

And then when I got them home I couldn't resist opening the POP ponies and (with my Style Kit Rarity I got last year) making some FrankenPonies!!

Congrats! I think RainbowShy and Peachberry actually look like really nice designs for ponies..or maybe my bias toward all that is Rarity in toys is showing?

I hope they have more POP ponies @ Target around Easter like they did last year. I got some at extremely discounted prices once the holiday was over... like $1.25 or something crazy like that. I still miss the 'real' Easter themed ponies Hasbro used to make every year and I wonder if they will ever do that again?? Getting a bit off topic but the POP ponies made me reminisce LOL

I love the pop ponies.  Curious what you mean by dollar store though if everything isn't a dollar? I'm guessing it's more of a discount store, as is Dollar General in the U.S. if you know of it?

I don't actually know that chain, sorry! I'm in Canada. Most things are a dollar, or used to be,before inflation, but the name stuck I guess.
