Colors can be a little off depending on when and what factory they were manufactured. So you can have slight variations of flat-footed Snuzzles, and variations within the concave foot Snuzzles. The biggest difference is in the shade of pink symbol paint, but you might be able to tell a slight difference in body color too. Colors can also be affected over time too, exposure to sun or smoke or bleach, so ponies that may have been exactly the same, may not be anymore. This doesn't make them variants, unless they were different from the beginning. From what I've seen, there's not a whole lot of consistency with the early common ponies in general.
