what kind of markers originally came with the pony? Were they washable?

Id try soap/water with a toothbrush first..then a magic eraser.  If that doesn't work, try acetone or nail polish remover on the underside fo the hoof and note if its safe or if it reacts.

I have one like that and I tried acetone and magic erasers, they faded the color, but didn't remove it. Hope this helps!

TBH I'd just prime her with white and repaint her entirely.

Unfortunately the markers they come with will stain the plastic, so while you can acetone off the black outline factory paint, the colors aren't going to really budge.  You could try sunfading, but I haven't tried that method as I only customize them so the marker gets painted over anyway.  ^^;

I'd go with a custom paint job too. :)

I tried to "restore" a Luna - like it's been said: it will fade, but in no way will remove it all.  You can keep her as-is, or prime & paint ^_^

I agree with the fresh paint job. Acetone, magic eraser, rubbing alcohol and even paint stripper (if you are brave enough but beware as it can melt the plastic) will shift some of it but its likely the plastic will have absorbed a lot of the ink. And even a sun fading after removing as much surface ink as you can may not clear everything up.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi :hug:
