You can pick up hemostats in the fishing aisle of Walmart, too ;)  They're not the heavy-duty kind and you'll probably break them after several customs, but they get the job done!  I also second a flathead screwdriver to chisel at the glue in the neck.  The one really handy thing about how much glue they used with G3s is that sometimes, you get nice, big clumps of hair that come out at once :)
