Hong Kong Winger Glow vs. China Winger Glow

Hello pony friends! I'm in need of some... well I guess advice on something dealing with Winger Glow.

I while back (like a few years) I bought a semi-baity glow to restore to her full glory.. She is in her nice what looks to be unfaded blue body but she was missing her wings and had mane cuts... Fast forward to sometime earlier this year and I bought another Glow for another restore project or something... I really don't remember... but she has her wings and her hair was uncut but faded.. When I got her and compared her later with my other WIP Glow I noticed she looked faded.

So I decided since I the other Glow already prepped for wings and hair, I was going to use her for a project real fast before fixing her... well found out for said project I needed to remove her eye and symbol work ;-; I also just looked between the two and noticed one was made in Hong Kong (the one that looks faded) and one was made in China...

So now I need to sacrifice one of them for the project and I'm not sure which one? China Glow or HK Glow..
Phone camera doesn't catch the faded so well but believe me she does not look the same in color as the other one

So which do you guys suggest.. And please don't see neither... because I do need that pose for a project and Glow is the only double I have in this pose =/

Can you do a wing transplant to the one that doesn't look faded? Or maybe someone else here on the arena knows which one is more rare. I didn't know that MLP's  were made in more then one country in the same generation.  If the both have unrubbed  symbols go ith the one that isn't faded in color, That's what I would do if they were equal in quality.

I don't think either one is faded.  HK and China both made the first set of wingers and there are color differences between them, some subtle, and some more obvious. The first Glow there is likely brighter simply because she was made with brighter blue plastic in the first place.

I'd use the one that doesn't have wings or hair, the other at least stands a better chance at restoration. As far as I've noted, neither is significantly rarer than the other.

A friend of mine said to use the China one because she is already wingless, plus I did notice her NDS symbol is missing a segment
I will now have to check my Highfliers too because I restored one already and bought another one for other use

But this was interesting because I knew some ponies were make in either or.. or both but never knew the wingers were too

I agree that it may be the one on the right is not so much faded but just naturally a different shade due to where she was made. I do also think that I would be going with the one who was already minus hair and wings - seems as though she is already asking for a make over

Well if she gets a full makeover it will be a different G1 character she will be

I had two wingers with different stamps. China was earlier and HK was later.
There's really no difference in price, just slight visual differences. Only noticeable difference for me was their eye paint.
I kept China for myself and sent the nicer looking HK to a friend.

Just for kicks      Oh, and my HK Glow is a paler blue than my China one.  Buzzer also has a very noticeable difference!    But the wings are what I noticed first, then found out about the two different sets.

I had no idea they came in two versions. You'd think I would have noticed since half of mine are apparently the Hong Kong version.
