thank you! curly haired ponies are sooo pretty, but to me they're lots of upkeep, so mainly i like to look at them from afar  ^.^ i definitely make exceptions for extra pretty ones, though haha

She looks so lovely! You definitely made the right move recurling her hair. It smooths frizz so well and makes your pony look brand new!

You did a fantastic job!  She looks wonderful now.

Can I make one suggestion?  It looks like you're using pens to wrap the curls. I'd recommend switching to drinking straws or small curlers from the dollar store, only in case one of your pens should start to leak. It would be awful to come back and find ink on such a beautiful pony.

thanks! i didn't use straws, because i needed something sturdy and thicker to tightly wind the curl around. i ended up using thin washable crayola markers, because after lots of experimentation, i found they produced the perfect size curl. the markers i have are from my childhood and haven't leaked so far, so i never actually thought of that! now that you brought that to my attention, though i may have to go out and hunt for real curlers with the same exact circumference as the markers. i don't know how easy or difficult that will be, though, since i've never even used curlers in my life ahah

Amazing curls! Did you boil them? I've never used drinking straws for curls b/c, like you, I don't think they seem to have enough strength for tight wrapping, although some people do have nice results with them. I've never been able to get the curls to look good at the ends. Congrats on such a wonderful job!
Looking for CF Minty, excellent condition! (and maybe Snuzzle and Blue Belle)

You did great! I have just recently done my first few attempts at pony hair curling as well. I must say I don't think mine turned out quite as pretty as yours but it is an awesome feeling to just sit back and look at it after putting in the work. It seems to be getting easier too. Keep up the good work!!!

i actually didn't boil them. to be quite honest, i'm actually not sure how to go about boiling them or why exactly it would be done   for the ends of the hair, i keep the hair as wet as possible, so when i get to the end of the curl i can kinda just shape it around the curler myself. i make sure to wrap the whole curl up, too to keep it in place  ^.^

oh, don't worry! practice really does make perfect with the curls. you get more used to the process and characteristics of pony hair, especially after a few screw ups!
