hi!
« on: September 17, 2014, 10:57:20 PM »
Hi! My name is Jerilyn and I've been into collecting My Little Ponies for most my life.  It started as a child as the first thing I remember collecting, then re-emerged in my 20's with G3, and just re-emerged once again fully about six months ago with G4.  I've used the excuse of having a daughter to get back into it,  though its mostly for me since she's only 7 months.  She's allowed to play with my build-a-bear ponies and will be allowed to play with others as she gets older.   ;)
This time around, I've started to get into restoring my old ponies (still have all of them from when I was a kid) and customizing ponies.  I've also started to collect from the older generations of the ones I never received or replacements for the heavily played with ones as a kid.  The only generation I'm not interested in is G2, and I think it stems from hearing they were bring it back when I was a teenager and upset how they weren't the same.
Look forward to posting and hopefully if I'm lucky, meet a few friends. :)

Hi and welcome to the Arena

It's great you still have your childhood ponies.  Some of my original girls are rather well loved looking too and although I have upgraded them I have kept my originals and they hold pride of place in my collection :)

I hope you enjoy the forums and I look forward to seeing you around :frolic:
