Ironically enough, I'd spent a wonderful day at the shopping mall and it wasn't until late in the afternoon that I first heard the news on the radio when I got home. We used to leave the radio in the kitchen on when our dog was alive to keep him company when he was home alone. The moment I heard something about New York, my ears perked up and when I realized what had happened I didn't believe it at first.
But then when me and my parents watched the news on the TV and saw smoke coming from both towers, I got this horrible feeling of panic in my stomach (I still get it by just writing this reply!) When the South Tower collapsed I couldn't believe my eyes. The following days the TV's in my High School were on all the time for news update about the WTC and 9/11 is a date eatched into my mind forever. In fact, the entire month of September makes me think of this tragical loss to the greatest nation in the world...
