First brag (and a little restoration too)(pic heavy)

I know this won't seem like a brag to most but these are my first ponies since I joined the arena! I only had three before and am still waiting for my big G2 lot so coming home today to two lovely parcels really cheered me and I had to share!

My first snag was a really cool lot. While hunting for bargain G2 to restore I find a lot with a Lady Cupcake in brilliant condition for £1.50 with £4.10 postage.  Why the high postage?  She comes with G1 Newborn Twin Snookums, G1 flutter Morning Glory and a bunch of Lady Cupcake's accessories including her gold chest and rainbow with comb. All that's missing is one gold pot and her crown/necklace/shoes. I was really surprised to win and though I was happy to pay 5.60 for just Cupcake loose having her with 2 G1 and accessories was awesome! The G1 are very dirty and Morning Glory is missing her wings so that's where some restoration comes in! I'll post new pictures when I clean the girls up. Should I be careful washing Cupcake's tinsel?

My second brag is from the lovely Starshine here on the arena. I won her lovely Magic Motion Sweetberry and McDonald's Sweetberry and to my delight she surprised me with an extra - McDonald's Light Heart! After all the stress and misfortune I've had recently it was so lovely!  I love my new girls

Congrats   Sweetberry is adorable!  The G1 look pretty nice already, and I'm sure they will be even better after you give them a nice cleaning/hair conditioning.

Poor Snookums is suffering from tail rust too its seems so I'm going to have to find a zip tie and pop off my first pony head, a bit daunting

You know your ponies and have a very good eye! Just cut slowly and carefully, and for all that is holy, WATCH YOUR FINGERS!! good luck, I'd love to see some "after" pics, too!

Snookums has more problems the more I look at her and try to clean her up I might need to create a whole seperate restoration thread!

She's got cancer or mold spots and pindot all over her cheeks. I knew she was in bad condition but I didn't realise how bad! Glad to get stuck into my first restoration though
