I'm really out of the loop... and it's only been a few months

So, I've not really been that involved in MLP as of late.

I last year unemployed and got into a funk and ponies just didn't interest me, and I've been kind of lukewarm on G4 of late, due to there not really being much to grab me. And just locally there's almost no MLP on sale.

And whilst with G4 I've been generally interested/felt I had some idea what was going on, I know feel super out of the loop. I've even done so with FiM I just didn't seem to have the energy to watch the latest season of the show.   

I hope I can get back into it a bit, I do have a lot of poor ponies that need sorting and cleaning and putting on shelves and I mean things have been a bit hetic since I'm back in education and sort of still in the adjusting phase.

Just take it nice and slow, maybe bath one of your favourite ponies and enjoy making them pretty again?

Drift around the Arena...let the pony collecting juices start flowing again. We all have a down time with collecting for one reason or another and sometimes being away and then coming back is a good thing

 Let me gladly catch you up with some of the new G4 stuff, like thr Pinkie Pie's Boutique Line, with a very pretty sparkly pinkie pie and sparkly g4 wysteria as well as a fashion style, purse playset, and an EQG doll! G4 Minty was released in the new Midnight in Canterlot which in my opinion is a great g4 collection starter with both Celestia and Nightmare Moon plus a few of the mane 6 dewdrop dazzle
 and Minty!!
Another new line is Rainbow Power/Rainbow Rocks, which is similar to TAF ponies + tons of rainbows and neon colors. The EQG line is a bit different with Jem style dolls with instrument accessories and colorful clothing.

It's easy for real life to take over our hobbies, but it's also nice to take a break from real life stresses sometimes and enjoy our collections

And I understand what you mean as I'm in my second year of university and I never have time for my ponies lately.

I'm with you, I think the last thing I watched was the EQG movie last summer and barely picked anything new up(I'm still bummed about those walmart princess plushies I missed).

I think Toyfair will be my turning point as to whether I resign. If it's just oodles of EQG dolls, I think I'll just make a big yard sale out of my collection(maybe).

Honestly, I don't collect anymore.  After years of collecting, I've been fizzling out for the last 5 years or so and now, aside from my childhood collections and a few favs, I don't have any ponies in my collection.  I barely hop on the arena anymore (maybe once every six months or so).  :/  But I don't really miss collecting and enjoy what I have so I leave it at that. 

(although I will say…I've got two BINS full of G3s that are MIB and I've been racking my brain on what to do with them…we're moving soon and I don't want to bring them with.  Toys for Tots maybe….  *shrug*)

Yeah it's not like I've totally stopped, like I picked up some Blindbags on a few occasions, and like kept my eyes out for second hand ponies at the bootfair and stuff, and actually today I picked up a G3 Core 7 Toola Roola.

It's just I think I'm still adjusting from the 'I basically did nothing for most of a year' to 'I am actually doing things again' and it's taking a while to get ponies back into that
