I've always loved cute things but last year I got into MLP. I've previously tried to keep my life looking like an adult's but since things weren't working out on many fronts anyway, I decided life's too short not to enjoy toys now that I can afford them. I bought some G1 ponies from my cousins when they were moving house and told myself 'these are cute but I don't care for the new style'. A friend of mine is a huge fan of G4 ponies and the TV show. During a night of drinking beer in pajama pants she finally made me watch a couple of episodes and I was hooked.

I can't decide which of the mane six I like best but my favourite pony is Luna. <3 I like Applejack's character and Fluttershy's looks :D

My other similar interests include Disney princesses (Pocahontas, Merida, Tiana and Anna), Adventure Time, and Ghibli movies. :)

Welcome to the Arena! I also love Ghibli movies. :) I can't wait for the release here of The Wind Rises, and I just got From Up on Poppy Hill for Christmas. And I have nearly all the others, from Nausicaa on. :)

I'm glad you've decided to openly embrace your ponies!  My whole house is full of them so that when anyone comes around they are impossible to miss :P
