Could be old Sainsburys stock perhaps then? With TK Maxx who knows sometimes I was just so pleased to find it because it was £6.99 rather than the price I had seen it for at Sainsburys. Loves me a bargain!

Make sure to rummage I have picked up all of the larger sets in there as well - AJs barn, etc. Their singles are not often a good price but the larger packs are always half price or sometimes you get lucky and find them in the sales section with further discounts.

I actually found that Cadance and SA set at TK Maxx eventually - and half the price so I am guessing it was not so much an exclusive as other retailers decided not to carry it.

Ooh, really? Thanks for the heads up. We have one of the larger Sainsbury's stores around here, but never did we get Cadence/SA in stock. I'll have to check out TK Maxx instead!

Yup - your TJ Maxx gets renamed over this side of the pond to TK Maxx. We had a retail chain over here called TJ Hughes with similar coloured branding and similar discount concept so back when TJX came over here they switched the letter to prevent any potential association/confusion.

I am not whether TJ Maxx in the States carries toys however - you may need to check that out locally

I've not seen the set in Ontario, either. Mind you, I haven't seen Funky Hats Pinkie, single FS Celestia, single FS Cadance, FS PTS either. Annoying!!

It must have been a short clearance, unlike the longer, drawn-out clearance for Celestia and Luna. How much were they going for?
