So let's all share our spookiest stories!


Here's mine.
Many years ago I was working in here.
I was working in an office at the top right of the stairs, with several rooms of books behind me.
We were closing up one day, and I was in the upstairs office, with my two colleagues downstairs.
I called out upstairs "We're now closing, so please make your way downstairs!"
A man's voice called out "I'm still here!" behind me, so I knew someone was still upstairs.
I returned to shut down my computer, and then went downstairs.

To get to the staircase anyone would have had to walk past me.
I checked all the rooms before closing up, and no one was in the building.

But no one came downstairs. Everyone in the shop had heard it, but no one left!
I accused my co-workers of playing a trick but we played back the security tapes and the voice was there but no person attached!

Sadly I don't have any ghostly encounters to share with anyone. I remember reading a thread here a few years back though and some of our members has some totally spine tingling experiences that they shared.  *sits down to wait*

One time, a friend of a friend of a friend of mine was beheading a G4...




and the exacto knife slipped and cut through the entire pony! AAAAHHHHHH!


Oh, and sometimes my mother awakens to see the Inside People standing over her during the witching hour when all the lights are out, but that one's not as gruesome because they watch everybody sleeping everywhere. Nighty night!

Many years ago, I was closing the store with a collegue. There were only the two of us left. I was in the office while he was out turning off the lights. Suddenly the landline phone started dialing, on speaker. I watched and listen in horror as the tones went on and on.. and an answeringmachine answered the call. I foggily remembered it being some movingcompany in another city telling me they were on vacation and please call back in two weeks. I closed the safe, tiptoed to the phone, lifted it and put it down to end the call, and then bolting out of the office in panic, running in to confused coworker who wondered why I was so pale. Scariest ever! and it was during summer!!!

I do office work in an older building and it's total creep city when I'm the only one there after 7pm. I do keep the lights dimmer so I don't end up with a full on migraine. There's a cubicle kitty corner from mine. I look over at the cubicle and there's a brief ball flash of light about 7' off the ground then the computer monitor comes back on in the cube. In my head I couldn't run out of the building screaming fast enough, but I had stay because I had a ton of work to do. Needless to say that one wins for me... ::shudders::

Working night shift in a nursing home.  My CNA were walking past a room and heard the occupant cough. 




She had passed away two days prior to this.  No one in the room, but the same cough as when she was alive.
