Anyone else watch Haven?

Yeah, the guy that plays Dwight was a wrestler... He played Edge but doesn't wrestle because of back injury which is apparently a pretty bad one. I dont watch wrestling, but had to hear all about this from my boyfriend.

Let me know if you do end up liking it! It's a wee bit derivative, I guess, (which I don't mind a lot of the time - my taste in TV is a lot more narrow than my taste in other media) but somehow I got sucked in. Haha.

He had to retire back in 2011 due to a neck injury that could have left him permanently paralyzed or killed him. A few years prior he actually full on broke one of the vertebrae and they inserted a metal plate in to fuse it and keep it stable but it only really bought him time. Poor guy was missing feeling in his arm when he retired.

I really want to see how he shapes up as an actor!

As a Stephen King fan, the show was a must watch. Granted due to life keeping me busy. I came late (as in this Summer) to watching Haven.
I'm hooked. Seriously love the plot, the troubles and the scenery isn't half bad.

My favorite characters are Aubry and Duke.

Well, I'm certainly glad I started this thread! So awesome to finally know some other people who watch the show.

I've wanted to watch it. I admit my main motivator to do so is that Dwight is played by my favorite former wrestler. >_>

Wait, he was a wrestler? That explains his buffness then :p I do like his character in the series, not sure what exactly he is but that's the same for a lot of them

I had no idea he was a wrestler, either! So interesting. And thanks to WildBlue and flyawayraven for the other info on him. Oh, and his character used to be 'the cleaner' so he'd clear up troubled crime scenes for the police.

I am a fan of Steven King. I liked the show before I knew it was based on Steven King's work. Then I saw the commercial for The Colorado Kid it made so much sense why I like Haven! LOL
I would like to read the book (and speaking of Steven King, I also like to see the new remake of Carrie)

I did not know the extent of his injuries. That is pretty scary. This gave me a thought though... Nathan's trouble is not so far fetched really.
