Halloween prop tomato cage ground breaker
« on: September 21, 2013, 09:53:47 PM »
This is made from: a tomato cage, wire cutters to cut the tomato cage, a styling wig head, paint, pool noodles, cloth and duct tape. I got the cage for free, styling head was $3.00 at Value Village. Everything else like cloth and pool noodle I had on hand. Now I only need to get some hands for it. The head sways in the wind which is cool.

I'd been wondering in the past week or two how you were doing with your making Halloween decorations. I wish someone like you lived in my area who went all out with decorating their yard and exterior of their house for Halloween and I could walk over and enjoy the sight of it. I love how creepy the head is. Shed some porch lantern light on the face and it'd freak out people who hadn't seen it in the daytime.

I've been really lazy this year, but seeing my neighbors have already decorated their house gave me the kick in the butt I needed.

Our house looks Halloween year-round because we're very forgetful about mowing/raking/picking up left-out things/painting.  So it already looks like a freaky property you don't want to be going onto...  :D

This! Fall is great because I can put off sweeping all the giant spiderwebs off the house until after Halloween.
